I just made this ride yesterday and it was beautiful. The back side of Mt Lemmon has received some maintenance since last December and some of the larger rocks in the road are gone and some of the larger holes have been filled. It does not appear to have had any grading.

There were a few places where the hard pack was covered with a thin layer of dust and a little slippery. Not a problem, but not something I'm used to up there either.

I'm headed down to Pima Motor Sports Park with my CRF250X tonight & doubt that I will be able to get out to Gate's Pass at 7:00AM tomorrow.

But since all the Forest Service Roads are closed, please let us know what you find out there.

I didn't sleep in too well, but, I am leery of skipping my walk for an unconfirmed ride.
