0730 waffle house Grant and I10. Got caught up in a small social activity in the neighborhood, still havent sifted through google earth. I think we may explore Las Cienegas for most of the day. If we're out early, we can loop around the Mustangs.

No go for me this weekend - maybe next.

I'm in for some longer scenic rides if we can get the timing to work out.

Howdy Phil! What is the route you are taking mate? I've Been conquering quite some challenging roads on the BB and its been mighty fun. Last weekend we rambled las cienegas and really flexed nuts bopping over ridiculous challenges on the GSA for 15-20 miles. Definitely know what folks refer to as 'big bike limits'

However, I wouldn't want to slow a group down zipping along on small smoker bikes. I'm still learning sand, and so far it's not fun haha. I think we're headed up to Prescott this weekend as well.

Anywho, let me know what you're route is - I'm looking for new roads around town here.

    Cheers!

    Steve

Aren't you just feeling your oats Big E? It will be cooling down soon and you WILL have to ride the Rug again.

Hey Steve,Welcome to the Zoo, I dont have tracks for the ride but it has a lot of rocks, ST, woops and sand we end up past Park Link Rd from there its all rocky single track. You are welcome to join us I just like to let riders know that it's not a BB type ride.

Big E so glad you are doing better. First 2 weeks in October sounds good for the Rug. We rode the Gap out and back about 3 weeks ago. The rain has totally changed the terrain. Still love that ride, some parts are easier, some more difficult. I did get that 990 R...since you like to name your bikes...I am going to call this one "Brutus Beefcakes".

You'd be worn out too if you were carrying almost 23 stones. Did you lose some stones Big E?

A couple of us are going to do a semi big bike ride tomorrow. Going to meet at the Shell Station at 83 and 82 in Sonoita at 8:30am. This is the 2/3 of the Iron Horse ride that got snowed out in February. From the Shell Station it is about 100 miles. expect dirt roads and some slab as well as some two track. There were GS's on this so it is doable, although you should know how to ride the big bike. PM me if you are coming so we have a count.
