You can try shorting the clutch switch. It will help eliminate the EPC from the list of problems.

Nice to see those are choices in TuneECU. Now if we can just get a box for Immobilizer.

the signal of the clutch switch activates something in the ECU?

to press the same? that changes in ECU

It would be good to be able to cancel the inmobilizador also,

all those things complicate the existence, would be good to choose them

    advrider is incredible,
It is my book of learning, and search
the downside more big damn language and their translations.
great tuneecu, in argentina being the 1st in having it, and modify the 990 to taste.
tomorrow I can get the sensor of the clutch and clean it but it is not the problem.

Joint injection and clutch are in conflict switch

    bad fuels also

I will continue looking for answers, I will not win this bug

    grateful

    combustibles malos tambien
seguire buscando respuestas , no me va a ganar este fallo
    agradecido

Yes. The ECU uses the signal from the clutch switch to determine if it needs to increase the RPM when in gear and the clutch is pulled. Also, the ECU uses the clutch signal to determine when to deactivate the "Overrun" "Feature." This as well as telling the ECU it is OK to start and run in gear and or with the sidestand down.

Wow CP - I understand the clutch start feature, and gear/sidestand stuff, that's pretty obvious (although hardwired would be nice and easy to faultfind), but - how did you come upon those other logic points? Yes, I do have a CD manual, but have not had time to look at it much, so don't know if these mysteries are revealed there...

I keep playing around with TuneECU and my bike sure isn't running perfect yet, but it's running WAY better than it was. I have measured this improvement scientifically by documenting how many times per ride I am behaving like a complete asshole compared to the stock tune.

For example, on the way home from work today I hit 100MPH three separate times, floated the front wheel across four or five intersections and scraped my boot coming round the on-ramp. I didn't know the thing would lean over that far because it always used to cough and fart its way onto the freeway and try to buck me off.

By my calculations, she's running about 20 times better than stock. :D

Update to my findings... each are taken from 100 to 110 mile rides mostly on dirt roads.

Arka with o2s enabled... 41.8 ...was a muddy ride, roads were soft so i was into the throttle quite a bit just to maintain cruising speed.

Stock map with o2s off... 39.6 mpg

    Arka with o2s off...39.4

Looks to be a nice day today so i am going to stay with the Arka and the o2s enabled and go for a much longer ride...
    EDIT;
Rode up to the lake 2 days ago and i pushed it as hard as this old man could for 90 miles on the dirt roads not being very kind to the rear tire and pulled 40 mpg's... filled up and rode home on more pavement and my mileage stayed at 40 mpg.

So i yesterday i ran the tank to the low fuel light and it came on at 156 miles, it looks like the Arka map with o2s on, for me is going to get 40 mpg..

One interesting thing to note between the 06 Akra map (KM601AK0603D01Map.hex) and the 07 Akra map (KM601AK0704501Map.hex) is that the 06 has O2 sensors enabled while the 07 has them disabled. Otherwise the maps appear identical from what I can see in TuneECU. Which might explain the wildly varying mileages that people are seeing out there?

Also, AFAICT the two 07 Akra maps (KM601AK0704501Map.hex and KM601AK0702S01Map.hex) appear identical in TuneECU. Of course there might be some differences that TuneECU isn't groking.

I just reloaded the stock map, and shut everything off emission related. Ten times better. I have Remus Hexacones and butterflys removed.

I just uploded and pasted the Akro map into my stock map which left the O2 sensor activated. In the past she has been running hot enough to turn my Remus single exhaust can to purple.:huh I hoping this will fix that.:evil I have had my idle hard set to 1.5K RPM via throttle stops (tps does show zero on TuneECU) and my butterflys are removed.
