This year there will be 4 loops. Red loop and Blue loop are each about 20 miles long and can be run separately. Yellow loop assumes you have ridden the blue loop and want to go to the Hat Tree area and back through Indigo for a good 70 miles (designed for a one tank ride). You can do various versions of these three loops. The Fourth loop will be 120 miles or so and involve mostly dirt but some pavement. Gas in included of course. This is more of a true dual sport ride with some great stuff. 5 or 6 hour ride. I will lead a gourp out Saturday if interensted. Of course folks can always team up and ride in smaller groups... Confused now? Sorry you asked?:eek1
Since alcholic beverages are so RARE at the Trot and other ADV Gatherings I thought you might be interested to know that Mr. Gimmie has once again captured a huge Kracken and has entrusted me with its RELEASE at the up coming Trot. We also have a full bottle of cinnamon schnapps thanks to Mr, Davebert. These will be there for all to enjoy. Thank you gentlemen for your contrabution to the delinquency of old folks
Hmmm Section IV, #N on the eglin map says "Intoxicated persons are not authorized to enter or remain on Eglin AFB"... haha So if you get drunk I guess you need to leave the reservation, drunk that is.. WTH...
Looking forward to riding with you again. I think we only met one time with BZ Rider... You camping or day riding... BTW - There will be plenty of us camping starting Friday morning thur Sunday. If you live in the area and dont want to camp out - please feel free to come on out for a day ride. If you get there in the morning by 9AM you should be able to catch most of the folks still there. And of course you are welcome to drop by for evening BS sessions and meet / greet sessions. We will be there for three days!!! come on out you n00bs- lurkers - wannabees - street bikers - and get to know some of the local riders. We will have folks for Mobile / Fairhope / Bham/Tally and more... Again there are TWO sections where the will be no generators .... and plenty of tree for hammocks...so you real ADVers come on out and see what it like to ride LA.....(lower alabama of course)... I remind you all Eglin Passes are required...
Heck, Vic, there might even be a 23 year old TA show up with a 52 yo rider and its ass hanging out ;-)
Your ass better show up at least for some BS and stuff.... Would be good to see you again. Maybe you can join the Beast ride on the TA...
Yeah I think that's the only time I tried to keep up. That's been over a yr ago. Me and the wife will be camping. Not sure if bringing car and 1 bike or riding 2 bikes just yet. Will figure that part out eventually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just a reminder 38 days to go. If you are coming please remember to get your permit. Most expire end of this month... BTW - all you BMW guys and other street only guys this is a good chance to ride some good roads and meet the dirty half of the sport.
Bumpy tires would be good! We have some sandy dirt roads, sandy jeep trails, and sandy single track. Even the pavement is sandy... Im sure there is something for everyone out there.
