Been thinking about making a hydraulic clutch kit for the Ural for awhile now

I've had them on my Urals for years

I decided to call my buddy Jeff @ Magura USA and ask him what he thought about that idea

Very positive conversation so I decided to make one

Had to figure a few things out because I wanted to make it plug-n-play so that anyone could install it out of the box

My rigs were to customized for that...so I started from a clean slate to keep it simple

It will be ready to install out of the box...it is adjustable.....for now your clutch arm needs to be in excellent condition or New

I'm still developing a better performing clutch arm

This is the finished product as of now....There will be small changes as I see necessary but this is the main platform

Jeff at Magura may decide to change things here and there as well

I've worked out a deal with Jeff that the first 5 Ural owners I provide a secret TurTal code with will get 1/2 off the MSRP which is $299.95

    They will pay $150.00

After that I will give 1 Uralista once a month a secret TurTal code to receive a similar discount
I reserve the right to end this special at any time as does Jeff @ Magura USA

The kit is worth every penny at $299.95 and it is the highest quality product of its kind on the market

    Made in Germany

I wanted those who may not be able to swing the MSRP to have a chance at getting one

This will help if you have a weak pull from age or injury....especially in traffic or off road

More pics and Video will follow

I hope you enjoy the product as much as I have

The cable arm support and clutch arm DO NOT come in the kit....you will use your existing

Will announce the release date of the little kit when it's ready from Magura

Nifty gizmoe, but I don't remember my 07 Ural Tourist as ever needing more than 2 fingers on the stock clutch. That being said, I'm sure it could help someone with an impairment or have the newer Oorals got a beefier clutch with a harder pull?

Thanks for following through on your idea and sharing it with the unwashed masses.

I have busted a couple of Ural clutch cables at some very interesting moments. The Valk has a hydraulic clutch and it is nice to have. My next Ural will have one of these things. Very nice....

Yeah.....I agree I've never thought the clutch pull was that hard on a Ural

The main reason I put one on my GUP years back is I was suffering arm pump off road from really having to work that puppy

Plus over the years I've noticed due to different outsourcing...cable stretch and clutch arms wearing at different rates it was causing all kinds of shifting issues

I got tired of it and I had been using Magura products forever so it seemed logical to slap one on and after I did I never looked back

Overall it just worked better and more consistently

When the old timers started complaining from the Harley crowd I hung around with...I started installing them on their bikes and they were happy to keep riding

So it might work out for the older Ural crowd where their pull strength weakens quickly and the young ones will like it because its a cool mod to brag about to your cable pulling buddies

Do the Uralistas really "need one"....maybe...maybe not....but at least we can make it available if they change their minds at some point

I don't make any money on the deal...I did it to make things easier for folks and I enjoyed the challenge

    Cheers!

As long as your handlebars are 7/8

If an issue does arrive concerning fitment....as long as you can provide me a pic and a few measurements I can fab something up to meet your requirements

99% are not going to have any problem concerning the kit

    But you never know

    Cheers!

Cool, I'm often stuck in stop and go traffic, while the heavier springs used now aren't exactly a hardship, a little relief on the way home after a day of driving a semi in Seattle traffic would be nice.

Any ETA on when they'll be available?
