    Beautiful art! let's see Tuscany :thumb I wouldn't rate this as porn, but topless women on a beach wouldn't be permitted here, unfortunately. :(:

    Well than, I might have a little Ride Report for you. This ride report is about almost everything my handle,

    [IMG]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    is standing for. What it is&#8230;? That&#8217;s not in short to explain. Here&#8217;s a try: <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    • &#8220;Cooltour&#8221;, pronounced in English sounds like the German word &#8220;Kultur&#8221; which simply means &#8220;culture&#8221;. <o:p></o:p>
    • &#8220;tours&#8221; means and sounds the same in English and in German.<o:p></o:p>
    • &#8220;Coo&#8221; sounds like the German word &#8220;Kuh&#8221; which means cow. The synonym Kuh is used for a BMW Motorcycle around german speaking nations., pleas don&#8217;t ask me to explain why&#8230;<o:p></o:p>
    • &#8220;Cool&#8221; doesn&#8217;t have to be translated as it also means the same around here and there.<o:p></o:p>
    • &#8220;Coolt&#8221; sounds like the German word &#8220;Kult&#8221; which means &#8220;cult&#8221; in English. It is often used colloquial as an adjective like &#8220;kultig&#8221; and describes things or incidents which the speaker wants to underline and distinguish.<o:p></o:p>
    Now, when I say that we are back from another Cooltours, it&#8217;s never more true than after this last trip with...

    ...the cow.

    A 10 days trip to the Italian Tuscany<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">!</st1:place></st1:State>! There's realy not many cooler places&#8230;
    [IMG]

    &#8230;and not many more cool people than in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Tuscany</st1:State></st1:place>.
    [IMG] [IMG]

    If it comes to culture, it&#8217;s tough to beat places like <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Pisa</st1:City></st1:place>&#8230;<o:p></o:p>
    [IMG]

    &#8230;<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Lucca</st1:City></st1:place>&#8230;
    [IMG]

    &#8230;and most especially: <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Florence</st1:place></st1:City>! Travelling to Florence is just hype and especially it seems to be quiet "kultig" for US-Citiciens to spend there some days.

    <o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Arts is everywhere in Florence!
    [IMG]

    One doesn't get tired to look at the dome from all kind of sides and angles&#8230;.
    [IMG]

    &#8230;and if you find your way around all the other excited (scared to get lost in the crowd) people&#8230;.
    [IMG]

    &#8230;one can look very close to worldclass artwork and craftsmanship.

    Sorry, must go for my 2nd cappuccino today now. More to come soon;-)

    Italians have a brilliant taste. They are not shy mixing old and new.
    <?xml:namespace prefix = o /><o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Their taste also reflects still in their shops, eventhough it's just a shop to buy your parka for upcoming cold season.
    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    While connecting all these highlights together you are discovering lots of different roads and landscape&#8230;
    <o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    &#8230;while at some point of the day you knock on some doors&#8230;
    [IMG]
    <o:p></o:p>
    &#8230;to ask if they might have a nice room with a balcony.
    <o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    On the next day you get up early in the morning again&#8230;.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p>[IMG]</o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    &#8230;because there&#8217;s still lots of things to do and see&#8230;
    [IMG]

    &#8230;food to eat and vine to drink!
    [IMG]

    Time for cappuccino #3 now. To be continued soon.

    Italians are very much into the nice things of live as you could see. Still hundreds of years ago, they showed kind of class, still in small details. This is just a waterfountain where people pick up water since hundreds of years. It&#8217;s not just a pipe out of pumphouse as I find;-)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    Who could resent them not finishing everything at the first attempt! Things just take time!<o:p></o:p>
    [IMG]
    <o:p></o:p>
    Beside coffee, arts, wine and pasta, there&#8217;s one more VERY VERY VERY important thing in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Italy</st1:place></st1:country-region>: Shoes!<o:p></o:p>

    At this time of the year, the streets are often empty and the cues infront of the interesting places are not as long as between June and August.

    Love is everywhere in these towns, from the foreground to the very back.

    But, well, OK….. I can hear all you FF’s already complaining already; This supposes to be a Ridereport, not a special about nicely carved or artistic stapled rocks....

    Well than, let’s first do what the Italians do:
    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    Have a chat…

    ….and after a short siesta, off you are into this…<o:p></o:p>

    <o:p></o:p>
    …or this…
    [IMG]<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    ...or maybe this:

    Where ever you ride, take your time to stand and look.
    [IMG]

    Some of the places are built on wonderfull places...
    [IMG]

    ...others are more interesting because of architectural reasons:
    [IMG]

    This is Puerta Nova from the village of Colle di Val d'Elsa. I'm considering crossposting this picture to the "...old structure"-thread as the wall is built somewhen around 11th century and still is "in use".

    To be precise, the Porta Nuova (the new gate) was built by Lorenzo de'Medici in 1481. The town (with the original 11th centry walls) fell to the Pope after a 60 day siege in 1479, and Lorenzo was
    determined to make sure it next time the town would be able to defend itself properly.

    But, hey, what does 300 years matter around here :rofl

    :shog hehe..uhm... well, some do really READ the stuff they googled COPLETELY from A-Z while others just pick out the words and figures they want :shog ;-) 1479 fit's indeed quite good for that gate... but, well, there's a bit of the wall on the picture too, right..? ;-)

    Allright. I just come back from a recovery-campain! One of my CFlashcards suddenly, out of the green showed a E/A Error. No access on neither one of the pics or files anymore. Maximum credible accident!!!

    My dealer ran the revovery programm on the card and... yessssss!... the stuff is safed on DVD now!! So, that's the reason why I buy my camera stuff at the dealer: It might be a bit more expensive than on the onlineshops, but when the crunch comes he's your friend! He takes lots of money from people like me, but lends you his sholder to cry on and supports you with real knowledge and understanding when you really need it! So here's one hallelujah for my friends at
    [IMG]

    Just keep on pationed for a while, I'll prepair the stuff to be posted soon!
