I've been lapping up your pornucopia of Sibirsky moto-journalism for weeks now and it has left me absolutely floored seeing and reading about the beauty, diversity and extremes of Russia and central Asia. You've shown how to kick ass on the gnarliest roads and passes, while at the same time provide some very deep and thought provoking insight into all these cultures. I'm sure like most of us North Americans (or even western cultures), I had no idea about many of these interconnected cultures, their migratory history and vast regional differences.

This last post about Tuva was particularly fascinating for me and I want to thank you very much for taking such an interest in these cultures and sharing/educating all of us. Really top shelf stuff Walter. Just awesome!
