I went Thursday at 5:30 and got a booth right away. It still looked like the regular mix of locals, art students and punks. The prices went up and they switched to waffle fries but other than that and new bathrooms and a bar, everything is pretty much the same.

I am all for going again if anyone wants to go.

I think the key is to get there before 6. After that, it's anyone's guess until at least 9, when things slow down a bit.

For me, the biggest change was the "stage" now missing from the main dining area. To actually be able to look out onto 26th took some getting used to. The new, glass light fixtures and ceiling fans are a nice touch. :thumb

    Where they will find nothing.

They need to go to that bridge and look for a buried container. Either that or raid the house that is currently tented and being bug-bombed.

I had planned on it. The day I filled out the paperwork and wrote the check, I got a call from a guy that talked about buying my bike back in July. He bought is, so no DS to ride.

I am kind of bummed, the weather looks like it could be perfect.

Kinda looks like Klay knows some good spots to ride.

Are these all around the area? I should ride my dirt bike to where you keep your dirt bike, and we could go ride dirt bikes together sometime around Northfield.

I would enjoy that. But the recent pictures are of Iowa and northern Missouri.

SE minnesota has two trails you can ride a D/S and enduro bikes on, Snake creek and Trout valley. I rode there on Sunday. The trails are better for smaller bikes though, not the ADV 1000 cc bikes.

While I would normally find that a bit irksome, right now I have bigger things to worry about.

    Hey guys,

I am from Western Michigan, but I am looking for an inmate who apparently owns some sort of ADV type business in Minnesota maybe doing guided trips. My son is in Navy boot camp with his son. He apparently rides a Super Tenere and his son rides an FZ8. Apparently, he is a member here.

Sorry, sketchy info, but it's from a brief letter my son sent me. If anyone knows who this might be I would appreciate you letting me know!

The only guy I know of who might be doing that is Jason Johnson. I have no firm knowledge, just somebody telling me a few years ago that he was starting up some kind of adventure tour business. I also have no contact info.
