    Hey all,
I'm riding the bike to work tomorrow as I suspect some of you are as well. I have an appt. at 10am in Brooklyn Park and I'm wondering if anyone wants to meet up roughly in that area for lunch around noon.

    Just throwing it out there...

Too far from where I work to fit in a lunch, but otherwise I would.

I was having a beer in the Town Hall Tap and started talking to a guy who has a 1971 Norton that he bought new. It only has 5000 miles on it. Apparently he likes owning it more than riding it. I think he likes to sit in his garage and admire it.

I was proud of myself because when he said he had a British bike I guessed Norton. Now I have useless bike trivia taking up space in brain to add to all the useless literature, movie and tv trivia in there. No wonder I can't find my keys. My brain hard drive is full of trivia.

Mad Jack's doesn't suck. Sister city, Brooklyn Center, has the 50s Grill which is fabbo. Lynde's, on the Osseo/Brooklyn Park border, is fantastic.

Looks like an awful nice weekend coming up. I feel the pull of the north woods very strongly. I don't know if I'll be able to resist. Overhauled the carb on the DR350 and it's purring like a kitten. Got new wheel bearings on the front of the tow vehicle, so it's back in business. Sickness slowly clearing up, although one ear is still plugged.

Work? I was offered and accepted a new position at work today. The downside is I might actually have to work. The upside is the pay increase is inspiring enough to, you know, make me want to <strike>work</strike> show up. :D

The last 2 weeks I have seen about 50 crates from Triumph before they get delivered to a bunch of the local dealers.

I just had a go on one of them there cruiser motorcycles. A Yamaha Royal Star or something.

I don't like it much, but it's not as bad as I had thought it might be.
