Damn, I really wanted to see the train last year. I caught it too late! Now I have to work evenings.
If you read between the lines of the schedule, it is at the CP yard in NE mpls from Tues til sometime Thurs when it goes to Loretto. So you can probly catch it there on Wed during the day.
Kept putting off the final oil change and such, now I get to do it in unheated north-facing garage at about 30 degrees.
Like a moran.
Doing my final oil changes today too.
Rather more comfortably though, which is nice.
"Final" isn't in my vocabulary.
How is Indeed?
I plan on riding the DRZ all winter long. It might have to be moved to the basement to make starting it a little bit easier, but if we don't get snow like we did two years ago, the yellow machine will run all year long
My DR is ready and willing. Rode a lot last winter.
My speedo is broken. My odometer will read the same in April as it does today whether I ride or not. No matter, though; a few years ago I made a point of riding all winter, i.e., I rode at least once in every month. I even got in a couple of pretty decent rides, but even so I'd bet the total milage was less than 200.
Even in a nice year, riding in the winter isn't all that much fun after the novelty wears off or the sun goes down.
My meaning was that I don't winterize my bikes. I may not ride them all that much in the winter, but they're ready to go. I think a heated garage is part of that.
