Was it a photo of Keira Knightley?
That's where we disagree, my friend. She's smoking hot. And she can cook.
I don't know that anyone is disagreeing with you on that. Spike possibly, but I got the impression he just didn't know who she is.
I just saw that there is a new Bill's Gun Shop in Hudson, WI. 24 shooting lanes and I thought 75 guns for rent. Just thought I would throw it out there.
Have you ever met/saw a woman you didn't think was hot?
RIP Don Cornelius
I couldn't see the image at work. Was hoping for Keira, but the other lass is okay too.
Yeah, Keira is hawt.
All the time. I just prefer the ones that aren't afraid to eat a sammich.
And Nigella's still hawterer.
I do like Nigella.
Sez the guy who has never finished an entire sammich in one sitting.
I like sammiches.
Mucha Chica (that's good)
I talked to a Sled head today!
I went to Tousley today to get trade-in value for the 1200gs to go toward a Spyder. All day I was getting asked "Ain't it to cold to ride?" but then I saw him at a gas station(The Point; Prescott/Hastings area). I walked up to the Sled head and had to ask "Ain't it to cold to ride?". Once he saw it was me(the motorcyclist), we had a good laugh. All the Cagers were looking at us with fascination(like a fight was going to break out). We stood by the pump and talked for a few more minutes and then went our ways. This is my way for a good meet/greet(bridging the gap).
Very little love for the banquet beer elsewhere on the innerwebs. What's up with that?
Great progress has been made on the ZX1100. I am quite excited about the prospects for riding this bike again next year. I have completely stripped and thoroughly cleaned the carburettors, and they are almost assembled again. I need some new O rings for the float valve bodies before I can finish them. In the meantime, valve clearances have been measured (all far too tight) and so tomorrow I will obtain or order new shims. The top end of the ZX1100 is quite cavernous. It uses a rocker system between the valve and cams. This allows easy shim retrieval because you just slide the rocker aside to get to the shim.
At this rate there should be no problem having this bike roadworthy again in spring. I'm looking forward to taking it out, it is a very fun bike. I have a couple of oil leaks to fix, but they shouldn't be an issue.
It has been a quite splendid weekend of wrenching on stuff. I even fixed the snowplow. Although the gas tank leaks. I had to drain that out last night, which didn't go fully as planned, but never mind.
As usual, TLDR
Wrenching is good.
So are bloody marys after a day of hiking
Lake Superior is 40' out our back door right now. The whole lake side of the condo is glass and it's a relatively low walk out, so the view of the swells and breakers coming of the gray lake are most impressive. Wish I could get this damn fire going though.
Keep at it, I'm sure you'll have a hearty blaze going in no time.
I hope you are properly attired in a chunky Christmas sweater, with Rudolph or that fat bloke with a beard on it. 'Tis the season and all that.
