I've been singing that since I heard the news. Gotta love John Prine.

Stopped at Northbound Smokehouse this evening. Enjoyed the Snowmegeddon (9.8 ABV!!!) and the lovely smoked porter. The appies were tasty, as well.

    Not beer related......

The Himalayan on Franklin was quite good. We both had Masala.
Will go back to try the curry and tandoori. reasonably priced as well

I've got a steamer trunk full of 50s vintage Lionel trains, track, etc. that I am looking to get rid of but would like to get a sense of what it might be worth.

    Some engines:

And my personal favorite, the Rocket Car! I've got the car, the rocket and the gantry, but haven't found the launcher. Used to launch that rocket and it would punch through the fiberglass insulation in our unfinished attic.

Progress came in the form of finishing the upstairs with bedrooms and a bathroom, but no room for trains. Kind of like old motorcycles, these train "where running when they were put away".

That's some cool stuff, but I have no idea of the value. You could search on ebay for some comparable items.

Suggest either bumping this thread or sending a PM to Joe (curbjumper). He's a great guy, I've stayed at his place and ridden his bikes and whatnot when passing thru Edmonton. Tell him I sent ya. :thumb

Today is National Pie Day. :clap

I think I'll bake a few and hoard them.

Unless anyone has a request and wants to pick one up from Uptown this evening... :ear
