Whatever you need to know. I prefer RAM mounts for GPS and such. I have a double-ball mount on it so I can use both my Garmin and a roll chart holder. I really like my Wolfman tank bag. I think it's the Enduro model, but I would need to check. PM me with any questions.
I just did one on a 2007 last night and it made a KTM oil change seem quite sensible. When was the last time you have to remove the left front turn signal in order to perform an oil change?
Again, :huh .
Hey it's not my fault yer a bit slow with the spanners.
I was just trying to think of another bike with a complex oil change, but couldn't come up with one to reinforce anything I said. Oh well, I don't really like letting the facts get in the way of things anyway.
I hope Mn Twin enjoys his new bike though.
Truthfully, I washed my hands of the whole matter after I figured out what level of BS was involved. Happily, there was a real-live, trained motorcycle mechanic at the shop, so I just asked hime what he'd charge for an oil change at his shop. He quoted a price, and I asked if he was willing to do it for that price in my shop with my tools. He shrugged and said yes. So, while he was wrenching I concentrated on the more important tasks of pointing, laughing and drinking Summit EPA. (Not necessarily in that order.)
I do too, and don't at all mean to dis his choice of machines.
I now want Summit ELA.
On that, I had some beer called New Albion Ale last week, which is something to do with Sam Adams or something.
Anyway, I liked it, and don't give a shit what anyone thinks about it.
Allow me to recommend Lagunitas' "Lil' Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale." If you fancy a Furious or a Two Hearted, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It is world class. Carry on, Gents.
I might obtain beer tonight. I shouldn't, as this continued beer consumption may cause shrinkage of my Darien pants, but I might obtain some anyway.
Well, if I drink lots of beer, they don't fit right. Therefore they shrunk.
Look again, Frenchy.
As usual you have two much interest in watt goes on inside mens pants, mine specifically. I've told you before, I'm flattered, maybe even a little intrigued, but ultimately have no interest in your advances.
But I still like you. Sort of.
Especially in that movie "The man who wasn't there", you did good in that.
Thanks man. I do my best work when I'm not there.
Ah shit dude, you didn't get blinker fluid in your oil didja? :huh
I couldn't help it. It overflowed when I was topping off the blinker fluid.
Hoping the moderator-in-residence can be of assistance or convey the message...
Ach! I have to use Internet Explorer to be able to login from Windows. (Tried from different computer at work, same results). When viewing ADVrider using the (presumably) default ADVrider 2.0 theme, the following items seem to be missing:
1. Banner at the top of the page "ADVENTURE RIDER"
2. Below the banner, in a smaller, yellow font, "Ride the World."
3. Below that, the list of links that begins with "Inmates", "Photos"...is missing "Quick Links", and "Log Out".
4. Below that, the text and icons in the top-most frame that usually contains information like: Home icon > Riding > Regional Forums >...is completely blank
5. The "Login" and "Register" buttons.
6. You get the idea.
Again, switching themes seems to work, along with using either IE (using 8) or Konqueror.
Apologies for posting here, but I can't seem to locate the "Site Feedback" button.
There's a whole subforum for site questions, glitches, etc - Ask Baldy, Blame AceRph.
In there is a thread detailing some recent issues people have had with the ADV 2.0 skin and either Chrome or Firefox.
Should find what you need there.
Thanks! All is well again. Turns out it is not the browser, but Ad Block Plus. For the affected browsers, disabling ABP for ADVrider fixes it.
It ain't so bad. It's a three beer oil change.
Edit: pic of the double RAM mount.
Double edit--just 'cuz.
How is that double mount attached (to the handlebar)?
One of the places that I want to take said bike:
I don't believe I know the rider in the pic but I've ridden pretty close to that location. I stopped when the pavement ended though.
