I heard tonight that Tom Dale, aka Tom The Tailor, passed away last night, apparently in his sleep. Details are sketchy to nonexistent. Leathermaker to the stars, inventor of the Zip-R-Strip (essential for us old guys with shrinking riding gear), Blind Lizard and Moto Mutz luminary.

I sometimes wonder what living life to the fullest really means.

There are probably several ways of doing that.

If you're not constantly watching TV or sitting at a computer on line then you're probably not too far off.

    Um.........

I take solace in the belief that there is no one on this earth who could be me better than I can.

It's completely meaningless and might not even be true but it gets me through.

At the end of the day, that is probably all that matters.

I try and stay happy by buying shit that I don't really need. It doesn't work, but I have some cool shit, so there's that.

I was listening to some kickass tunes last night. I was pretty happy at that point. I put new tweeters in my speakers, and they sound really good now.

    So that's nice.

Honestly, that really is what it's about.

If you want to know what really, honestly makes me happy, it's this kind of thing.

Both rides featured rather awesome riding, rather awesome eats, and rather awesome pie.

That BBQ run was right up there with them.

GPS coordinates to the house please!

Also, I was watching a video online about the DR650 and it said that the strength of the bike comes from dried samurai testicles. I did not know this.

What keeps me happy is living one day at a time.

I have done some awesome shit in my short life, I have done some really dumb shit as well!

During some of those dumb shit moments there have been some awesome times as wel!

I haven't eaten a single slice of pie all summer. I need to go on a ride with you guys, can you even get gas without pie?
