Yesterday afternoon I left work and headed west to take the the long way home. The weather was sunny and warm and in the 70's so it looked a good day to take a few pictures. Here are a few of them.

Along RM1174 between Liberty Hill and Marble Falls.

I headed up to Llano for a late lunch at my friend Kenneth Laird's BBQ and then headed south to The Willow City Loop.

At Willow City I headed east on RM1323 and turned on Smith West Road.

At RM 962 I headed to Round Mountain and on to the house via Hamilton Pool Road. I made it home by 6:00 after only riding 185 miles after leaving work. But I did take 80 pictures along the way. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Crossing the Pedernales River on Hamilton Pool Road.

A lady in a pickup in the oncoming lane saw me laying in the road behind bike while I was taking this picture and stopped to see if I was OK.

Great that she stopped.....lets hope that trend continues.

Yesterday WAS a spectacular Day. Was wishing I had the Duc put back together.

Great Pictures Randy, some nice color on the trees......noticed that last weekend driving down Lime Creek Road from CP.

Like the new K Bike. I'd ask you if you like it.....but............I think we know the answer to that.

Hope to see you on a ride in the not too distant future......CT scan on the clavicle this week.......surgery to follow ( I assume)

My parents lived in Kerrville for a bit. We always enjoyed touring the back roads, especially in spring time when the flowers were out.

Nice pics Randy- love that you always go the extra mile to get good images- even if that means looking like road kill!

I went for a short ride today myself- in your neighborhood (I think) as I went to check out the Common Ford park on the other side of the river from my neighborhood-

Nice pics! :D Looks like you had a good day for a ride.

We have snow on the ground here with daytime temps around 30 degrees.

    Winter sucks.:huh

It's definitely time for you to heal and get back on the bike. It's been way too long.

New K-Bike - The CBX lives on with the same middle age weight gain as I have. :rofl

I wish that that area was closer to Houston, as well! I'm getting bored with the Brehnam to Conroe to Houston run......Great pictures. Nice Bike, too!

I was riding in the same area that day. It was beautiful weather and you got some great photos of the beauty of the hill country in autumn.

I only wish I had been on a HP2 Sport too.

There is something very unfair about this :cry

We are getting hit over and over again with cold/snow here in the east, but y'all are having beautiful weather. Could be I'm just envious, I guess.

Love that area. My son leaves end of Feb for basic AF training in San Antonio. Grads from basic about Easter. My wife and I plan on being there, then hanging around for a few days. I'll head up into the Hill Country at that time. Hope the weather is as nice then. Great Pics, but I'm really jealous :D

I'm planning on visiting my folks in March down in that area before they head back to MN in late April. I'm thinking about renting a bike for a day or two and enjoying some hill country roads on two wheels. Looks fantastic in the fall.

Could you pipe some of that beautiful sunny 70 degree weather north by northeast for us shivering inmates?

Springtime is a great time to be in the Hill Country. Then it's time for the Wildflowers to be popping up. Last spring was great.

We need some rain badly so next spring likely won't be as good.

Springtime IS great. I've been 2x before and both time in late March/early April. Neither time with a bike, but I hope to change that this time.

    Great springtime pics as well.
