    Hey everyone.

New 2015 KTM 500 EXC owner.

I'm looking for IRC m5B tires in Dubia.

    Anyone know of a source?

    Thanks.

Hopefully he'll have an IRC m5b.

Otherwise I'll have to courier it from abroad.

Any reason you are only looking at that tire? I know there are loads of soft tire knobbies out there...Pirelli has some and they have a dealership (sub-dealership, not sure) in Al Quoz too...that's where I got my knobbies

Are you sure you want soft terrain tires? There isn't a lot of mud around this part of the world. If you are going dune riding you might find an IT tire better

    Thank you.

Feel free to give it a try. Let me know.

Thank you for pointing that out.
Based on what I read about it, it's described as ideal for mud & lose ground.

Check out reviews from people who've tried it:

A lot of them mention sand.

Hey guys, anyone got any good trips towards Hatta?
    Or any mountainous region?

Dying to try the bike on something other than (quick:rofl)sand.

I've mapped one out myself on Google maps. Park on the main road and simply drive into the mountain range, make a loop and return to the main road.
A round trip of 45km. Not too bad.

We're going camping/hiking to Jebel Shams (3,000m high) this weekend...4x4s and hiking focused...wanna tag along? the 500 won't like the 6hr highway ride...

    Very tempting invite!

I've driven the 500 on streets & highways.

Not something I'd like to do very often. It had no problem maneuvering or keeping piece with traffic but it didn't feel stable when i went over 130 kph.

I do have a black Nissan Patrol. I just gave away that I'm a local, huh.:D

The good news is that good weather is just around corner.

Based on this year's impersonal weather, my father in law's aunt predicts an extraordinary winter - it'll be early & extra cool.

    Hope she's right.:clap

I'd love to do jabal alshams though some time.

    Don't fret. I've got a car.

The bike scenario needs to be sorted.
