Sorry not Dubai, but I could get you a set to Riyadh. It would probably take a couple weeks to get here in the post.

Hey thanks Ken, mighty kind of you. But no, was hoping for a local purchase via a visiting friend who could bring it back to India for me. Just trying to skip the dodgy customs and shipping etc if it comes via post. Those things rack up to twice the priginal cost!

hey, nice to see another AUH'ian post up.... am pretty new here too (5months) and thankfully, my bike arrived just a couple of days after me. I even got my riding license (and the bike registered) before i got the car sorted out so i've been happy since day 1 :D

Although i do commute to work (whenever possible), I did a short ride to Hatta-Huwaylat (twisty roads)last weekend and while it was manageable in the interiors, riding the AUH-DXB highway was torture. You keep sweating even at 140kmph because of the extremely high humidity. Do let me know if you fancy a ride to Al-Ain and the beautiful Jebel Hafeet anytime soon.

    check your PMs

I don't know if Tubliss is available in UAE elsewhere. If you can some how get the Tubliss delivered to me in UAE, I'll be visiting Bangalore in last week of June and can bring it with me if you want me to. It can then be sent by post to Delhi/Gurgaon without customs problems.

Just landed in Dubai...my G650X Challenge BMW is following suit from NYC...should be "off the road" by Augustif anyone w ATs to do a morning/late ride for a newbie desert rider...when the weather clears would love to do long distance 2-3 day trips...

Need some work done on the bike when it lands (electrical, GPS mapping, front tire balancing, maybe a new rear tire...)...any decent garages that can do a good job?

    Hello chaps.
On here everyday, glad to see ther is a strong feeling for gulf riding. Oce I get over to KTM in Dubai i will be in contact for a wadi bash or 5. There is a small group of trail riders here. The dunes in UAE looks brilliant. Lots of playground to cover.

Cheerio outa Muscat, O-MAN!... its hot

    Hello there from DXB!

Got here three months ago , was planning to ship my DL650A here but seems that the cost is a bit high, so looking for a cheap, used, dual sports bike here... There is a dealer in Sharjah with many adds on Dubizzle, and he's got something that caught my eye, but don't know how trustworthy they are...

We are headed to Salalah for the Eid holidays, but in the Xterra and plan to do some desert and wadi exploring. Of course happy to do a ride any time.....

I guess you can get them to give you the VIN no. and check them with the traffic police. Better check the bikes thoroughly and repeatedly before committing to a sale.

    Hi Vicks

I will arrive in Dubai in late Ausgust and my KTM 990 Adv R should arrive before the end of September. I lived in the UAE for 4 years and I have only been out the country for a year. I know alot of the routes and some of the Adventure riding community in Dubai. We can cathup in September/Oct when the weather is a little better - i can also introduce to a great guy who often arranges group rides just because he loves to ride with like minded people.

Have a great time and keep safe.

    cheers

Not sure if he has sold his bike, the guy I am talking about has a White 990 Adventure - he did make a comment about a BMW on facebook which I am really hoping is a joke. By the way loved the pictures of your recent riding - been missing the desert! I really am hoping to get a group together of adventure riders who want to do a bit more offroading and exploring wadi's etc. I found in the past that most Adventure rider groups want to stick to tar and hard packed dirt at worst - I can do that on my Harley.
