Hi, I have finished the new Unifilter kit for the 2014 1190 today. The new kit will be available from all good bike shops or online from Monday. The new Part# is "AU 1436 KIT" the price is the same AU$69.95. There was just a small change to the urethane used in the seal and the removable 2nd stage on the main filter. All the other components are the same as the earlier version.

Could you detail a little more the actual changes between the 2013 and 2014 filter set. I have two sets of the 2013 (one spare to clean / re-oil). Will they be useless if I upgrade to the 2014 airbox ? I thought a cut in the pre-filter would do the trick.

Did a dirt road chasing a mate of mine. For about 5 miles I tried passing him in the dust but it was so thick I couldn't see anything as I got level with his back wheel, and twice got into a tank slapper as the track became too loose.

After 5 miles I gave up and sat back in less dusty conditions until I found some hard packed stuff to pass him.

Point is; it was great test for the UniFilter.

Bike is a '13 with original airbox. Here's some pics.

As you can see, the pre-filters in the snorkels are filthy, the prefilter in the airbox has a wee bit of colour, the inside of the main filter is clean and the airbox is spotless.

The last picture says it all for me. A clean intake track is well worth the time it takes to do the installation. I only have about 325 miles on my new 1190 or I have no intention riding the bike in the dirt until the filter situation is sorted out. Uni filter Australia is where I got mine.
