Jeff_B lead a ride Sunday with Dave, John and Me. Guess he's too modest to start a thread, so here goes. I'll leave the editing and corrections up to him. After meeting at Randalls http://randalls-restaurant.com/ (fast friendly service and good food) we flanked the Youghiogheny River thru some twisty narrow gage macadam. Trick shot catching Johns reflection in my helmet, ok, need more practice.:huh Leaving Ohiopyle To some overlook where apparently some guy killed his son, Jeff_B planting an omen? Baughmen Overlook, I think. Jeff waiting for me. No time for pictures on the bone rattling ride on Fire Tower road, then off to the spillway. Dave deploying his GS's dust cloaking device he got from Touratec It really works. Ok, the high point of the trip was Mt Davis, getting there the dirtiest way possible. Jeff, Dave, and John. You'd think they'd have service here. Staged after swarm of bugs leave. Then off to the morgue for lunch. Really cool place in Meyersdale, prior combination morgue and door manufacturer called MORGUEN TOOLE COMPANY, http://www.morguentoole.com/. Too early for bike nite which starts at 4, we hit the brunch buffet. Now Jeff watching his figure opts for the liter fare with the Green Bowl of Deliousness, Dave, John, and I hit the buffet. After Morguen, Jeff shows us some dirt. He knows all the roads, even some two rut goat path that, ahemm, is a private drive if approached from the north. I have a new respect for what that swiss army versys can do with a good rider. Apparently the author of this graffiti is not a dualsport rider, his/her take is "Welcome to Hell", guess its all relative. Off to Ligonier for a beer and some dinner. It was a great Sunday ride, want thank Jeff for letting this newbie ride along.
