Rally the troops, this is the last time we can ride ALL of Johnson Valley before the Marines take it. This place will likely never be the same.
Green and red sticker friendly ride, no plate needed! There is plenty of room on the Means dry lake bed for as many campers and riders as we want.
I'll update the thread as needed. Come on out to say good bye to Johnson Valley!:deal sign up on the Hello Johnny thread in the WEST.

    Celebrating our 5th year!

    WHAT?
4 fabulous days of dual sport adventure motorcycle riding in the scenic desert.

    WHERE?
    Southern Arizona

    WHEN?
    March 20-23, 2014

    FEES?
There are NO registrations fees - you just pay your gas, food, lodging, etc. (donations are appreciated).

This is a great opportunity to meet some of the various dual sport adventure motorcycle riders in person who hang out on the online forums.

Let's spend four days in Southern Arizona exploring the great trails, forest roads, food and fun.

Enjoy the chance to ride with other folks or ride by yourself. Maybe you'll learn a few tricks or discover a new road.

You'll definitely meet interesting folks, BS about dual sport adventure bikes, eat some good food and do some great riding!

Hey everyone, new to advrider and wanted to introduce myself to the regional forum for us here and around CA.

I am thinking about taking a trip out do Death Valley in late March/early April before it gets too hot out there and wondering if anyone wb interested so I wouldn't be riding the whole time by myself.

Dates are not completely set yet to give some freedom to those interested and their schedules, I should be seeing about booking a campsite soon tho.

    Lemme know :)

White Mtn Research Station road is open to Barcroft this Sunday:

    http://www.wmrc.edu/

I was going to go but have a friend's birthday on Saturday evening that can't be missed... this is over by Mono Lake in Owens Valley and there are several ways up the mountain (White Mtn Rd, Silver Canyon Rd, Wyman Creek Rd, and Crooked Creek Rd) of varying difficulty.

I was going to go for the 5mi walk up from Barcroft at 12,500ft to the top of White Mtn. at 14,100 - bag a 14,000ft peak with a day walk up a fire road!

Riding from PHX to Lake Mead, up to around Area 51 (Extra Terrestrial Highway and Little A'le'inn), over to Great Basin National Park, then down to Cedar Breaks and Zion. Might pit stop at the Grand Canyon for my stamp cancellation and then back home to PHX. Will be camping at the parks at night. Willing to take anyone with me who's interested. Leaves Thursday morning 9/24/2015 returns to the valley on Sunday 9/27/2015.

PM me if interested for additional details/questions.
