    Help Needed Please,
G'Day from Aussie, I'm not real clever on computers etc so any replys will need to be pretty basic.
After reading all the posts I purchased a Kyocera Pro and downloaded OsmAnd.
My problem is the OSM map on the phone is a different version to the OSM map on Basecamp.
How do you update the OSM map on Basecamp
    Thanks Paul

Thanks Woody, I have also been trying to learn to edit OSM maps , 10 days ago I added a road to the OSM map ,it shows on the OSM map site but when I try to update the map on Basecamp it doesn't appear
The edit I made was to add Barrys Lane edit #55028508
I think that edit should show on every ones Basecamp , am I doing something wrong

Thanks Ohgood, yes I am using the updated base camp map. Could someone please have a look at an updated OSM NSW Australia Basecamp Mapand see if this road shows.
    Search for Markwell NSW Australia
    Thanks in anticipation Paul

I just downloaded that section to basecamp using http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ and Barry's Lane doesn't show (although it's there in both the web OSM version, and in Google Earth). No idea why..

Thanks Harvey, I thought I must have been doing something wrong, any other experienced Basecamp users got any ideas what the problem is
    Thanks Paul

the edit isn't there for some reason. I just downloaded the updated map, it's not showing:

but the routing info has been updated to include that road:

I've also attached a rough GPX of the route:

if it's your first edit they usually take a few weeks to be approved or something. if it's your fifteenth it's almost over night.

Also, note that garmin.openstreetmap.nl is not pulling live data. He refreshes his data periodically. According to that page, it’s currently pulling 12-22-2017. (Look at the date just below the map display.)

It doesn’t update automatically, I think about once a month the map updates, so your additions will be on the map eventually.

Thanks everyone , I think you're hit the nail on the head "Abruzzi" I believe I made the map change on the 29 dec so the change may come up on the next update
    Thank again Paul

Thanks again but now the next question how do you tell which version of OSM map is OsmAnd using ,so that OSM Basecamp and OsmAnd are all using the same map

I may not have asked the above question clearly , but what I'm trying to do is plot a route on Basecamp (on OSM map )and have the exact same route appear on OsmAnd app ( OSM map) on a Kyocera phone.
At present if the maps are different a different route is plotted.
    I hope that makes sense

I would contact the OsmAnd developer and ask.
(please post their answer, now I'm curious)

I believe there must be a version date on the OSM map OsmAnd is using its just a matter of finding it
