Some trivia about this tag: The road this church is on is named for a prominent SC family. The matriarch of the family has a TV show on ETV weekday mornings entitled "Priscilla's Yoga Stretches".
Hey, did you get a new bike? Nice!
Is this in addition to the 1150 or a replacement of?
i think I saw that bike in the showroom when I bought mine! Nice bike! It's got a great color combo. See you on the road.
The R1200GSA is currently in addition to the 1150GS. The 1150 experienced a major electrical system failure and has been totaled by the insurance company. They are currently still determining the fault. I do not expect to end up with it.
Getting the R1200GSA was an easy decision, just more money than I want to spend. I really like it and am getting used to the higher power/ torque. I popped my first wheelie the other day coming out of the neighborhood. I have seen YouTube videos of guys jumping and riding wheelies on these big 'ol bikes and did not understand how they do that. But now I do. They have THAT MUCH TORQUE !! The ESA is really nice too.
The Tag and Grab today is part of the 600 mile break in.
We should plan another dual sport group ride. See you on the road.
You did. I arrived back at TouringSport with Willie trailering the 1150GS just after you left that Saturday. I was pretty stressed after experiencing the death of my 1150GS.
Just got to ask. What happened to the 1150? Details Please.

A friend of mine and I road Caesar's Head and stopped at .Cedar Mtn fire station to talk about riding skills. When I tried to turn off the ignition, the bike did not shut off. I put it in first gear and put the kick stand down to shut down the motor, but it stayed energized. We were talking about riding skills and I smelled smoke. I got off the bike and took off the seat and flames appeared. A fireman happened to be at the station to wash a car and grabbed a fire extinguisher. We put the fire out and I had to unhook the gas tank, lift it and unhook the battery to de energize the bike. The main wiring harness behind the battery under the seat had shorted and caught fire.
Let's try again.....
Just North of Winnsboro and just East of US321, corner of Patrick Rd. and Mobeley Hwy.
Congrabulations Mr. Banjo Man.
Sorry for the harsh lighting.....
So did you get up and do Yoga with Priscilla Patrick? Nice grab - there are some good roads around there.
That was fast!
Not the first time he's heard that.
I thought it was a race. We started at the same time.
Lead me not into temptation...
1. A no parking sign right behind your parked bike.
2. A no vehicles beyond this point sign at the entrance to a very inviting road.
3. Makes me want to go out and buy a GS,
