Posted a couple of years ago but a friend was having this problem on his new Ural so I thought it might be worth mentioning again

    180 out the brake arm

2 advantages....Free up some room for your clod hopper and stop inadvertently activating the brake with your foot resulting in over heating the tub caliper possibly locking it up and causing a serious accident

Its free and easy to do

    Cheers!

    Hey TT:
How about cobbling up a system to run both brakes off a single master?
Should be right up your alley.

    Interesting

    An LBS on a Ural

A bigger master...a couple of proportional valves....some scary test rides

Hmmmmm...let me think on that a bit

Like you idea with the brake linkage.
I keep my clod hopper off by this way. Your way is better.

    Pretty clever

Your setup allows for a different resting position of the foot

Ill bet that helps on a long ride
