I pity anyone that buys it. First time it goes afield the Police will hit it with a canary and it will be defected. It IS possible to build a custom outfit that meets the law.

Since it won't go very fast but has tons of torque, is the idea to tow the cafe along behind you? ;3

I was able to open them in a new tab. I guess they don't like offsite linking.

i thought i was supposed to link them from offsite 'cos they're too big otherwise. it is licensed currently in new south wales. i will have to make some changes for west australian license as we have some different rules. i'm looking for a tonneau cover for the chair, all the ones i've found online so far are for right handed chairs. why can't you guys drive on the correct side of the road? the left.

From Ural (http://www.imz-ural.com.au/), or from a guy on Soviet Steeds who has several styles...

I also suggest you make it a little more street legal. It'll save you some grief in the end. :freaky

No pix visible now... but why do we have to go to bloody Farcebook to see this shop's creation?

Yes, it would be illegal here in Victoria too: no front guard, no mirrors, no indicators on the sidecar, yadda, yadda, yadda.

What have they done about its awesome lack of performance? It's a bit of a pre-requisite in anything with "racer" in the name....

but it's a very nicely done piece of work. Maybe performance wise it's a pig in a poke, but I'd have it to take the kids for a ride to the store or around the neighborhood myself, and a great conversation piece at bike nights. Good on ya mate. Have fun with it.

i just heard it should ship early next week to perth. legal or not it's still got nsw plates on it. it has a full set of indicators, brake and tail lights. they don't show well in these pics but the destino site has a whole bunch of pics. i can't put them all here. front fender i think i can rectify with a small plastic one off my mates dirt bike, the stock ural one dosen't exactly cover the wheel. and i have my eye on a set of bar end mirrors which i think will go with the theme, bar end mirrors were a cafe racer thing.
the performance issue isn't an issue. the whole idea of getting a hack is that my wife refuses no matter what to get on a bike with me, or by her self. however she will ride in the chair if it dosen't go too fast. the ural won't go too fast. i did look at fitting one to my '71 enfield bullet but the performance there is too low already. the ural will blow the bullet away even if the bullet is solo.
i've even spoken to a nice lady at ural in aust and they have tonneaus for left sided bikes. i'm going to need a cover now, winter's come to perth we've had a bit of rain in the last two days, first since november or so
    thanks for the interest

What makes this illegal down there? Looks like a light custom with nice paint and upholstery, somewhat unfocused styling with little substance or flair, but well executed judging by the photos. You guys aren't allowed to paint your bikes?
