So Nutsy got out of Green Cove Springs around 7 this morning and headed up the coast:

Made a quick stop near the pump station to say HI to an in-law on Toogoodoo Creek.

Then headed on up to have lunch on the waterfront here:

    Then headed somewhere else:

I guess the change in terrain is obvious.

Nutsy moved about 650 miles today.

Nutsy went for another ride today. He ran into a rather interesting man........

Hung around with some inmates at an ADV ralley:

Then he went for a ride, about another 100 miles or so.

    Here's the tag shot:

See that old John Deere mower?.......Nutsy is attached to the underside of it with a magnet.

    Right here......

See him peeking out from under there?.....

For more info about this location......see the North American Tag thread.

I sure hopes no one runs off with Nutsy.

A funny thing happened when I was looking around the tag site.

I'll share more about that in the morning.

Yeah, he has some rust, just from the eyes being welded. I plan on cleaning up the welded area and use plastic dip. The powder coat is holding up really good.

    Mr. Nutsy's weekend.
After picking him up at the entrance to Grayson Highlands we headed back to NC. We decided to run the BRP for a while before dropping down to Mt Airy ad to home.
Saturday Mr Nutsy decide he needed to do some work and add to his adventures. We headed out to work on an Eagle Scout Project, a community garden. Moving compost, building raised beds and compost bins was the plan. He even posed with the scout who's project we worked on.

After working so hard yesterday Mr Nutsy wanted to see some off the sights. He hopped in my day pack and we hiked to the top of Hanging Rock at Hanging Rock State Park.

Yes Sir, the magnets are still with Mr. Nutsy. When he finds his new location this coming weekend he will still have them.

Mr Nutsy has gone in for a little "plastic surgery" to remove rust. He needs to recoperate for a couple days then we are packing up and heading to his new location. I will tell you this much.... Mr. Nutsy is stoked about his new hiding place.
Thank You.... Scouts is a very big part of my family's life. My kid is 15 and a Life Scout getting his Eagle Project plan in order to start soon.
Eagle Scout is a huge accomplishment, you should be very proud.
Where else can I verbally abuse kids and get away with it?..... Just kidding

So.... Mr Nutsy's travels will begin again this week. Sorry for the delay and Thank you for you patience. I am just hoping his new hideout is as cool as I do. If not I have plan "B" and plan "C".
