Nutsy approaches Chattanooga, Tennessee
Way to go Fido. You got that tag by the nutz.
I know exactly where that's at FIDO. Great tag.
That's not the tag Simpson. That is just a pic of my trip home.
Tag to be posted later.
So Nutsy got a proper welcome to GA at the GA Welcome Center on I-75 just south of Chattanooga.
Then I took him to our County Courthouse to see the Avenue of Flags, one for each of our county's fallen veterans. Dalton, Georgia.....Whitfield County
And then in keeping with the date...9/11...I took him to our local mosque. I wonder if those gates are to keep people in, or keep people out.....
Then about mid-day we made it home...The This'll Do Garage.
Nutsy got a new sticker...to oppose the 'Roll Tide' mess. He needed a little CLEMSON culture. Then we sat around and watched some Saturday afternoon football.
Okay, I needed to change bikes, so here are some hand-off snaps....
We'll head out again early in the morning (Sunday).....I do loves me some dawn patrol.
Awersome! After a rough start this game has really taken off...cool to see!
Tonight I sit in Cincinatti, Ohio. I took the long way up here and saw alot of things. Like:::
Here's a pic of me on my Goldwing:
So where is the new USA Tag??
THIS is a cool place. The history behind this town is amazing and very important to our success in WWII. Give yourself some time to go thru the museum. I didn't today, but I've been there before.
Nutsy can be found on the other side of this sign safely tucked into the stainless steel foot-light frame.
I covered him with some mulch.
Nutsy is located directly below this bottom corner of the sign.
Then I left the sight and thought,"What if my bike's windshield doesn't show up in the photo? or what if it doesn't count as a bike being in the picture?"
Shucks, so after a short while I turned around and went back and got a good money shot for the USA TOR:
GO GET IT!
Is there a USA TOR map posted somewhere?????
Nice Tag. Nuts is on a roll now...where he will stop nobody knows.
There is a slight chance I will have an opportunity to grab nuts once more...Wow never thought that would have happened so soon, but interestingly I'm headed towards Nuts this weekend.
Well I wont go after that with knobbys, cool report and tag. Thanks for showing a good picture of the roll tide paint job.
No, I simply have a running list of states Nut was dropped in. HOWEVER, if you want to do a map that would be great!
No thanks. I already keep the North GA Tag and the GA Tag maps.
My wife (MADnNC) and I have been riding Western North Carolina since Friday and the past day and a half we have been enjoying Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN. Last night she checked the thread and yup Nutsy was still in Tennessee so this morning I made a quick trip to Oak Ridge!
So I had to wake Nutsy up, he was not thrilled, :huh
But when I mentioned where I might take him, he climbed right up on my wife's bike. I rode her Vulcan instead of riding my XRL down I-40.
So back to Gatlinburg to pack up and pick up my better half.
Close up of Nutsy looking around.
Slow upload so the rest will have to come later.
Way to go NC-Okie!!!
Great to see the nut traveling.
Nice grab NC-Okie! It looks like Nutsy is joining you & MADnNC on the rest of your western NC riding vacation...lucky Nut!
So after waking up Nutsy and making a quick trip back to Gatlinburg to pick up MADnNC and pack out so we can hit the road
Nutsy view from my XRL
Rode through Newport Tennessee and saw this nice Veterans Memorial.
This was in Cocke county, TN and they had a Freedom Fence which listed all the Cocke county members that are currently serving in the Armed Forces!
After a few hours we mad it back to NC!!!
Then off to this American Treasure
Nutsy even rode with MADnNC and me to grab the NC ABC county tag!
All in all a great relaxing day riding!!
Awesome Okie Where will Nutsy go now
