Interesting idea. How you going to stop the draft between the bag and coat? Come up mid chest and use draw cord?

draw cord and some use light suspenders. It's pretty common in the mountaineering world. trouble is the mountaineering version is usually built for 40 below zero, and I want a highly compressible 3 season setup.

I've had it for a while. Bought it a little early for my grandkid. Couldn't stand it
it was so cute. She can barely reach the pedals so I got her one of these
until she gets a little taller.

Good idea! Theoretically I should end up with my own bike and a few rich, cocky, mediocre riders will donate theirs for the greater good.

This is a real possibility actually. I have to see how many hundreds of emails I have waiting for me in the morning though.... I've tried to unplug over the holidays so not sure what it looks like.

I've posted a land use request for north lake powell.

    http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=23152550#post23152550

For anyone who knows the area and feels like helping out, please write in. Also, if you were around pre-94, a lot of this area had further trails that were closed with the national monument. it would actually be great to see some of these opened back up particularly on the far eastern side of the road on the north shore of Lake Powell.

    thanks!

    Hey GISkev,

Look familiar? Turns out there's a 98 degree hot spring right by the bridge we crossed. We missed out, should have camped here.

Well I may need to come down to ride for a weekend if the snow doesn't start piling up! Could you ride some Sat/Sun combo? Any mountain biking to keep my grrrrrrl entertained or is it too soft for a pedal bike?

70 mile continuous single track (Black Canyon Trail) that is awesome and all non motorized.

My schedule goes through February 15 now, only weekend is the 8,9.

I wouldn't change any plans for your one free time slot, but that might be workable if your grrrrrrl wanted someone to hike around with and my grrrrl would be ok w/ trading off with a kid backpack while the boyz were out with their toys... an epic pow storm could change my thinking, but hey...

I just put a set on my VStrom and love them so far. Only about 500 miles on them and not a ton of off road. I'll get to it if it ever thaws out in GA.

Are they loud? I've heard some people complain about them making a howling sound once up to speed, but haven't tried them out yet. I run the Anakee 2 and have really liked them, so am planning to switch to the 3 when it's time.
