Just rode the White Rim with a buddy of mine, on-leave from overseas.

A taxing ride on such a big bike, but worth it.

Okay this isn't the right forum, but we're local and like motorcycles, so I will give it a try. I have a 1969 Triumph that needs a little love. The only Triumph mechanic I know left SLC two weeks ago for California. I'm looking for someone with experience working on older Euro bikes. The local stealer (dealer) isn't any help either. The only electrical component on the bike is the head light and tail light

i had to prove I could go deeper than the KTM... yeah, that's it. :evil

As far as I can tell, the only permanent damage came from being pulled by the RZR when the strap broke through the front fender and hit my tire causing me to go down.

Anyway.. thanks for your help 2wheeladv. Sorry your ride was cut short but it was a nice ride up to Mirror lake (and back).

Hey roachie, it's all good. I left out any names to protect the innocent :augie

The good news is we rode up and back...no rescue needed!

This is from a friend of mine with a lot of high end vintage bikes. His home is like a motorcycle museum.
Tom Sill 420-270-0435. He is business by himself in the SLC area and has a lot of British bike experience.

Speaking of electrical grief. My son showed up with this Big Dog POS. Made it 6 miles and then graduated
to official trailer trash. Trying to fry the wiring harness. Kids.:rolleyes

Anyone with a silver KTM wheel they want to swap me? I'm switching from my black rims to silver. Easier to just swap wheels (front anyways) straight across.

This is on my 2008 KTM 690E. You can see they are in great shape. I just recently put on new rim stripes and they have no dings or major dents.

We keep our respective spacers and rotors, swap everything else. The rear wheel is another story. I need a 2.5 x 18 rear rim in silver as I want to keep my stock cush drive; thus no straight swaps for the rear unless you have a silver rim in 2.5x18 mated to a cush drive 690 hub.

Those are some nice shots of UT single track. Here I was getting all enamored with CO single track after Walden, Taylor Park and Uncompahgre. Makes me wonder, who has the better single track, CO or UT or perhaps Idaho?
