A shameless plug for Matt (Frog) and his moving/storage company.

I've referred several clients to them and have had positive feedback.
I came into the office today and his wife had sent this gift basket
and PR hat from Two Man Moving. SWEET!

    Keep up the good work!:thumb

We used Frog's company for two moves before we even knew he was on AdvRider. Both were excellent experiences. His guys took a lot of the pain and suffering out of the PITA of moving a house...twice.

    Hmmmm.....no shipment from KTM hutt.

I need end clips for the oil pump shafts, and the outer clutch cover gasket for a 530 so I can ride this weekend. I can make the gasket, but I'm gonna need those end clips. I think they're 6mm number 20 on this fiche, but there has got to be a place to get metric clips in SLC.

Anybody coming out from the city for the weekend have any ideas? :ear

Infidel, Warp9man and I were chatting the other day and decided we need one more big event before the snows set in. So, we are planning a season finale ride down at the Arizona Strip (not a gentleman's club, it's a huge chunk of BLM land south of St. George) October 23-27.

The plan is to take Warp9mans RV out south of St. George (to the dirt, where you pay no fees) and use it as "base" for 5 days of exploration. There is a huge bunch of land out there, varying from "super-single-track" to "I can almost get my mazda through here" so both small and big bikes could enjoy it. The thought is we could break off in some smaller groups each day according to bike size, interest, and skill level, go have fun, and still rally around together in the evenings for eating food and telling lies.

There are petryglyphs, old buildings, stark desert, piney mountains, gypsum mines, caves, and all sorts of neat stuff out there. For those interested, I will lead a day-trip up over Mount Trumbull and on over to my favorite part of the Grand Canyon......Toroweep point....there's no guard rail and no tourists with cameras standing in the way.

I used to live/work in this area and am excited to be going back. It's miles and miles of prime motorcycle enjoyment. Red cliffs, white washes, widlife, not many trucks on the road except for the occasional rancher, not much for touristy campsights, and lots of space.

Plus, we will be close to St. George so we could go into town to eat, get gas (or parts heaven forbid something breaks) and have "stuff" available. Those that wanted to camp could camp, those that wanted hotels room would be close to hotels. If some wanted to sneak off a day or two and do some fishing, there are multiple resivoirs close by.

For more info on the area we're headed to, click this link: http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/fo/arizona_strip_field.html

    Anyone want to join us?

    WARNING

Toroweap is in the Grand Canyon National Park. Though you can ride all over the desert getting there on dirt bikes... to enter the park (last 5 miles to the rim of the canyon and overlook) you must have a street legal bike! I have been there when the Ranger let those of us with plated bikes in and turned the others away.

Just wanted to give you a heads up... just in case.

Good to know. I've been there at least 3 times and never seen a ranger! Saw the cabin, saw the pickup, but never saw anyone there.

    Hey fellas
my name is traeden. im relatively new to the motorcycle world. in a nutshell i my brother had an old 1983 BMW R80RT down in san francisco and said if i could make it home i could have it. so after takinga 2 day course and getting my license i flew down there and had my maiden voyage home (tahoe is awesome to ride through) so i'm currently trying to fix my bike because some D-bag in my apartment complex messed it up because i park in car spaces....) so this is a shout out to anyone who knows people that would be beneficial to get to know that 1. are savvy when it comes to mechanical work on older airheads and 2. that like to go on rides so when i get my bike fixed ill be in the know. feel free to give me an email with any details at traeden.nord@gmail.com thanks.

Nice job! I really liked the stills and the fish eye lens on the turns.
It looked like an easy tour though. Nice crash seal!
