I'm looking at picking up a torque wrench. Any recommendations on the best torque wrench?

I'm slowly gathering gear; just picked up this helmet:
    Arai XD-3

I would love to ride this weekend, but I have a date with 3500sq/ft of cedar fence; she is ready to be oiled up and I hope to beat the snow.

When the new helmet arrives I'll be ready for desert trip (big salty loop) or something.

    Have good weekend :thumb

Did a fun and easy 310 mile loop (260 dirt-50 slab) in the West Desert today.

    Started here.

    Had fun here.

    Didn't have fun here.

Ran out of gas but got REALLY lucky.

    Had fun again.

    Then not so much fun.

Looks like you got to experience what hapens to that area when it gets rained on. Kinda suck doesn't it. Slick as snot but sticks like glue. And a pain in the ass to ride in. Looks like the rest of the ride made up for it. Make sure to wash the bike asap as it will eat the metal at a very fast pace.

I guess so. Mapping a ride that crosses "mud flats" on the map probably wasn't the smartest thing to do.

Commander51 (KTM 300), Dirty-Diesel (new 1972 250cc enduro!), and my XR4... we'd planned to ride the Grantsville Front single track, but it was too muddy so we stuck to the roads.

then commander51 figured he'd do a Nosey rather than go into the ditch, but the Nosey didn't stop him! I hope you got that on you helmet cam video!

Thats the sad thing I was in the desert. I guess we gotta drive south a few more hours.

I had that same bike years back. I'd still have it but my bro in montana uses it on his land.

No pics it was a 90 mile car to car ride with no stops.

I was in the swell Saturday and Sunday. I gave the ADV-salute to every rider I saw, but nobody seemed happy about it :fyyff

You're right, the weather would have been perfect for riding...I screwed up and made a promise to take someone from the East Coast camping and hiking. I thought he was going to have a heart attack when he found out his iPhone wouldn't work in the swell. :lol3 I had 4 messages on my voice-mail from his crazy girlfriend asking if he was alive or dead, plus she had called MY wife complaining because she couldn't reach him.

I guess he won't be allowed to play with me anymore. :evil
