Ahhh....Havasupai, nice! Did it many years ago (1989 to be exact). I was in a cast up to my shoulder. Wrapped it in a bag and did some cliff diving. That was before the big floods that wiped out many of the pools.

Combining it with moto sounds like a great way to go.

That Whirly-bird was non-stop for the two days we were hike'n. We figured they must have gone through $10,000 of fuel while we were there. No wonder it was $60 each just to camp.
Oh, BTW. Next time I'll let the mule carry our camping gear.

Did you buy that 950 from Curtis, here in Logan?
I was pissed when he sold it, but if you have it now, then its all ok.:lol3

    Great pictures, Yogi.

    Looks like a helluva time.

I did the ride & hike once, but it was "just" Moab, Arches, Delicate Arch, Gemini Bridges . . .

Ended up finding one at Escape in Provo, $43. My current one is probably fine but definitely smart to play it safe though. It is 2000-current all EXC and similar models if anyone does have one lying around... (rear axle shaft/adjusting block for a KTM EXC)

Great RR! Love that route, give or take a leg here and there. Actually nearly broke my leg on Smoky Mtn Road going 1 mph in the mud. Havasupai wasn't $60 when i was there last! :eek1

FUTURE RR TO COME: I'm still planning to ride to Bryce May 7&8 then back 11 12 13, so ride down or back, or find something to do while i'm busy, like hike around. Sounds like Pluric is in, but he'll need to sell a bike for a Garmin Rino and stay in back to ease my mind. I've ditched his ass as an offering for the vultures in the past, only because there was no option, but this time I'll lend him a Rino so I'm not annoyed with his antics. Ain't gonna be BADB riding (unless you're TT or the like), and last time Pluric's light bike exploded, so maybe this will be BRP mid-bike or MADB scale.:deal

:scratch Spend $600 so I can see my friends on a map. If your riding in a group why not just act like your riding in a group and stop to make sure everyone is there?

Yeah Walrus, care to give us an example???:lol3

Speaking of, where is Ken? I'd PM'd him to return a new tube for his donation in the desert
    and have not heard back.

KEN, are you out there? Ken? Hmmmm. Must be putting something on a trailer or sump'n.:dunno

While I'm on the subject. Where's Ryman, MSH, BrShootr........?????

I'd hate to think they all got a life and actually don't need the verbal masturbation anymore. No, it can't be.

    I know. It's embarrassing.

I never said I was hard core. I like adventure riding as long as I'm too far away from help since I usually ride alone. I came across this road quite by accident when I was cruising from Monument Valley to Moab. I saw a sign that read, "10% Grades . . .gravel . . . switchbacks" and I thought: this is for me.

I sat my camera down on a rock with the timer on so I could get a picture of me riding up the road, then some donkey dick cruises past in a jalopy kicking up all kinds of dust. And, evidently, ruining my picture.

BTW, you didn't have to post it twice. That's just mean.

I've been told by someone you know that I am "mean". That hurt.:cry

Just say'n. Admitting you got passed by a 66 Volkswagon bus doesn't exactly
count as getting your ADV card punched.:D
