Im not a Honda guy, but ive never seen a piston pin retainer clip NOT do damage on the way out of a running motor.
Sometimes even the fiche doesnt show it all in exploded views.
If u bought it used it may have been there all along.
If it were me, which its not, Id check the obvious and if i couldnt find where it came from, Id run it.

    Bikini Bike Wash?? :clap

Got 1,100 miles worth of bugs on my ride, a cute lass cleaning my bike would be a fine thing. When's the next one hereabouts?

for no sidebags in case there was some fancy foot work needed.

Only tough stuff is Coal Wash in the Swell, and I'm sure i'll have more fun on my XR400. Pluric told me that he was taking his KLR which i think is probably a better steed.

Pluric, you should ask TT and Harcus what they thought of coal wash...

Does this ride have open enrollment? I need to meet you guys sometime and i might be able to duck out of some familial obligations next weekend and come, or at least come part way.

Didn't I have to buy lunch last time? Aww,what's one more kid on the nipple?

You're retired. Technically your time isn't worth shit.

I was going to take the Kler, I've offered it to Todd-Squad because he wisely won't ride
    his KTM on slab.

TT and Harcus would tell me it's paved just to see the sleeping Tenrere shots. Can't trust
    anybody around here.:wink::D

Unless you're on a Goldwing like Pluric. Check your PM's

Pluric: That was me and the long lost Soewi (sp?) that made you buy us lunch, cuz you were trying to use free lunch to bribe Ryman to come along. he bailed, so we figured you ought to be true to the concept... but Ry never got lunch. Thanks again by the way, and it's one meal per time i help you pick up the monster. Coal wash could get tiring after awhile. Get on Google Earth and look at the wash that runs SE of Ferron. I'm sure your 350 would be preferable here. truly XR400/KTM 690 terrain.

I'm not lost just haven't been riding much. Too much time on the push bike getting ready for a Grand Canyon thru hike.

I assume you mean homo-sapiens? Any other meaning would be derogatory and this thread has
never gone there. Well, there was the one time regarding Walrus and farm animals...but it was
well documented and they were the opposite sex.

I was just down there last weekend. Took the family down to Moab and we camped along the way.

Here's a shot of my family at the Wedge:

From there, we camped near Swinging Bridge, then went into Goblin Valley, hiked to Gemini Bridges, then hiked Arches. Busy weekend.

Cute kids. Please tell your wife I'm married. I'm a little uncomfortable how she is
looking at me in that photo. Not that I don't enjoy a good 'Come hither' look.:D

My wife, simply put, is pure in heart. She doesn't have a "come hither" look, sorry.

But I did see something in Goblin Valley that reminded me of you--something I thought you'd love. Also reminded me a bit of our trip to the Baja.
