Ok... the lemon was just out of gas. petcock turned to reserve fixed it. You can get 150 miles on reserve on this bike.

Anyway, rides light and pulls wheelies in any gear! kinda scary! 7.3 gallon tank full to 2.5 gallons keeps the weight really low! I've got the smaller one if i change my mind!

That's a funny color of orange...and where did u get a 7.3 gal tank. Wow! Can u really get that out or is it like the Acerbis on the XR, "tip me over to make me cry"? :D

It's an Acerbis marked 6.6 but I carefully filled it a gallon at a time. I used my wife measuring cups from the kitchen, so it's accurate. I got 7.3, and yes, it all comes out without tipping or anything.

I was riding it on the street last night and it defaults to a wheelie... I don't even know why it has a front wheel!:eek1

I saw someone on a nice GS riding on the roads in Layton this evening in the full on snow storm! Very hard core, I'm impressed.

Hit me up if it was you. I just moved back to Layton from Cali but have yet to get my GS up here. It likes the warm weather.

... but I was out on the wee-strom, but it's a short commute, and not in Layton... the roads usually don't ice up if its snowing, so corner carefully and don't tail gate!

dirt bike valves done and jd kit in tonight. I need a bolt then i'll fire it up tomorrow. spark plug suggested uber lean, so hopefully riching it a bit will be the bees knees. Not much experience w/ carbs, so this is kinda fun.
