fixt..........although I'm gonna bet that pluric has more pics of me stranded in those rocks.....:lol3

In my defense, after missing that downshift, turning the BigAssDirtBike around on the hill and picking it up twice.....I was out of energy and needed the assist....

But the rest of the ride was great..........:clap

That was a steep, rocky, slippery hill.:eek1

Walrus has dedicated his retirement time to the study of the effects of gravity on KTMs.
He got some fantastic research done today.:thumb

If KTMs, BMWs and Yamahas can ride in peace why can't the rest of the world?

I'd be surprised if the route flags weren't all picked up from the MTB race, but if they weren't, send me a PM. I know the race organizer and can make sure it gets done.

When I went over to the South side where the event had been everyone was gone
but one vehicle that was loading up. I assumed they were done. Normally I try
to pick up cans, water bottles and garbage I see on the trails. I left the directional
flags because I wasn't sure if it was a two day event or what. Looked like they had
good turn out of riders. Good for them.:D

I bought a DR650 over the weekend, and it came equipped with the short side stand. Does anyone want to trade? I need a standard length unit. I will be in Tooele until Thursday, then Bountiful for the weekend.

    FYI this passed this year:

HB316 allows those driving both motorcycles and bicycles to proceed through a red light which they determine does not detect their presence after waiting at least 90 seconds provided it can be done safely. It also clarifies when roadway authorities may reasonably prohibit bicycles from using the roadway and that they must provide an alternative route. A caveat: this is only an “affirmative defense” which means you can still be ticketed, but can have the charge dismissed after arguing your case in front of the judge, and we must review next legislative session. For details, visit le.utah.gov/~2013/bills/static/HB0316.html

Anyone want to ride my VFR800 to PHX?

I've got a buyer who doesn't want to do the Fly N Ride, so I'm looking for someone trustworthy to take her down there. He'll pay your ticket from PHX back to SLC, might even pay for gas. You'll ride this beauty, with heated grips mind you!

PM if you're looking for an adventure.

Want to, yes. Can I? It depends.

What sort of time frame is the buyer looking at? Sounds like a lot of fun.
