Valve check nightmare

    It's the tensioner. It's spring loaded and jumps back when the tension of the chain relaxes at a certain point. Mine made the same noise and read about others on here with the same fear. :)
    Normal stuff, no need to worry.

    This is an old thread but I'll give it a try nonetheless:

    I've done the same on the rear cylinder - found a piece of a cam chain guide with the oil screen after running with low oil pressure (the standard coolant leak into oil situation caused that). The rear facing slider/guide seems ok to change without too much hassle (?), but the front facing one is mounted inside the cam chain tunnel no? Is it possible to replace without getting the heads off? If you have some pointers or know of a guide with relevant info I'd really appreciate it!
