I made a post for a bike for sale this morning(World-Tour-Ready 2008 DR650 in NYC- $2600"). It worked fine, I checked it an hour later and the views were at 45 so it was there and other people could see it. Then next time I check it's gone- no trace. When I look in my profile and "View all posts by" there's no record of it. This is the 3rd time this has happened with posts. Others were months ago but I didn't investigate, just reposted. Anyone else experienced this?

The mods deleted it. Was the price in the thread title?

Read the info sticky thread at the top on what to put in the ad.

Mods are the only ones to change/ delete threads. If the price is in the title and you want to change it a mod has to do it. They don't like to be tied up fixing, changing titles so the easy way to fix it is to zap it. They also don't like to type out the how to instructions, where you screwed up, how to fix it for everyone.

I'm not a mod and don't mind helping now and then, so read the instructions before posting away!

When you enter the Flea Market, look below the 4 sub-forums for posting rules.

I had this same problem. Having the rules posting in the top-section level, not as a stick in the sections themselves, made it annoyingly hard to find. :huh

And yet hundreds of new ads are successfully posted each week.

    Weird.
