Congrats on the new bike! :ricky

I checked the Givi website, it sure looks like they do not offer the V35 bags in red (only gloss black, silver and grey listed as options). I could have sworn they used to offer them in red for VFRs (very similar color).

Mine are red :lol3 Just took about 15 minutes to make them that way. The dealership said they would send them back and try it again. The odds did not seem to good on getting red ones. :eek1

Holy crap the Givi stuff is expensive. $490 for the bags, $230 for the racks. :huh

What is the seat-bag of choice for this strange creature?

Your dealer where you bought the bike should give you at least a 30% discount.

2nd that. My dealer was able to get me the entire setup direct from GIVI for about $20 more than the Kawasaki cases.

It's all perspective. After bagging up BMW's with factory stuff for years,
the Givi cases strike me as a bargain.

    The 49L topcase for the RT/GT is $800+ :eek1

I thought the Givis was a little steep, but after fitting them up tho, great product for the Versys! The SW-Motech mounts are the deal maker tho, sweet!

I drank the Versys Kool Aid. Second shot shows my crew chief. She says I need some hard luggage and a new GPS.

I also noticed you have the black plastic lower guards. Some of us get silver. Interesting... :dunno

Any ideas on locating a larger front sprocket? brand/part number? I see a 16-tooth cog going on pretty quickly.

What do you guy think about the Ebay listing for the new 08 @ $5,795 and no dealer ads. Worth a trip to Albany?

I would call first. A place in Tenn. had the same thing on cycle trader. I called and they told me that the Ga. price was 6300.00 and then I would have to pay Ga. sales tax. Usally if a deal is to good to be true it is.

Seems like a good deal and they flatly state "no other fees".

You will pay sales tax when you register it in your home state.

There is a slightly used one in Yonkers, NY for even less money and from a private party you may not have to pay sales tax. Check your state laws.

Can't wait for the break-in period to be over.

    I guess I'm turning into a Versys thread post-whore...

I ordered my panniers and brackets through my local Kawi store yesterday. Can we get a head count of people who have actually received theirs?

I hear they're starting to come off back-order....
