Not really a great pic of the Versys-x, I just wanted to show you that it is possible to go riding with Harleys with your Versys-x:D.
Old friend that first had a Honda CX500 Custom for 20 years and then been riding HD for more than 10 years.
Nice to have riding friends for little excursions and stopping for food and conversation.
If taking pictures is main goal I think going out alone is more relaxed.

I think it's a Sportster ( hmm ... not sure) but not original so you are probably right. I haven't got to rhe details but engine is something like 1300+ cc.
    Edit. Correction
    It's a Dyna Superglide

My bike is not run in so I take easy. Would have to use full rev range to keep up in acceleration with that bike :D
By the way - do you still have 10' of snow or is bike season near?

Went for a little ride today late afternoon/early evening. 100km on the islands west of Stockholm. (Not the archipelago, that's east)
    Clear skies but a bit too windy. 5-6m/s ( 15-20ft / s ?)
Really too much noise from turbulence around helmet. Ok if I rise a bit or duck.
Think I'll take the screen off tomorrow and see what happens.
Stopped by my summer house to check if everything is ok :lol3
Photo taken 18.00, we have looong days here this time of the year.

I see you're not the only Versys-X rider there. :-)
Yeah, looks a little crowded. I would feel rushed if I ended up among all those riders on the road. :dunno
What make and model is your wind deflector?

So.... Needless to say the stock tires were never intended for this, but it still made it.

This bike is quite fun, quite capable, easy to ride.

The below is a bone stock Versys 300. I'll definitely be putting some better tires on it.

It's done 70 mph + highway runs well enough, not just exit to exit but 2 hours at a time. Doesn't get blown around too bad & has plenty of power to run reasonable speeds. It's been gps verified to read +3 mph and has shown an indicated 97 mph a couple times now with a little left. I've had it on several hundred miles of dirt/gravel/broken pavement roads & it's held it's own against KLR's, Stroms, & GS's. It's been on a handful of trails in the woods which are doable, but the tires suck for that kind of work.
2000 + mile trip through North Carolina upcoming in a week. So far the best stretch has been a 1000 mile weekend.
I think I'm gonna enjoy putting a lot of miles on this one.

The other versys is a riding buddy. We have 4 of them in our group.
The wind delfector is a Puig. Works great. Brings the wind to the top of my helmet instead of at half helmet and adjustable

The underside of the bike is well protected.... by the exhaust. I've been quite careful so far & the pipes only have a couple scratches.

If the aftermarket doesn't catch up with this bike soon I'll be fabbing a skidplate for it. That was one of my gripes with the bike, but it can be addressed.

^^^ I checked with the SW Motech distributor,Twisted Throttle, and they thought it would be late summer till their skid plate was available.

Good find on the T-Rex there K12....Looks like theirs maybe ready for purchase any day now.

Took a ride down Gator Creek Road near the Kennedy Space Center. Lots of holes and loose rocks and gravel. The X handled very well. Easy to ride standing up. IMG_2731.JPG
