Thought I'd git this thread a bump. So I'm at Lvl 35 with my Siren. I jumped on an ADV game and the other guy's were only lvl 15. It make it too easy for me as it was like bringing a tank to a knife fight. So, I started a new character. This time a Mechromancer, which I originally wanted to do but didn't have the DLC. So now I have it up to lvl 14. It's really different then playing the Siren.

I thought about not playing the optional missions but you can't really advance fast enough unless you play some of them. I unlocked the rescue Roland mission when I was at lvl 10 but waiting till I was lvl 12/13 so I wouldn't have to slug it out. The Mechromancer is really weak without her mecha. If she gets attacked by an elemental weapon she's screaming and the shields are dropping fast.

    Are you on a PC?
If so, I'm out fairly regularly on BL2 and would be happy to join you. Shoot me a PM with your game info and I'll add you to my list so I can see when you're online. (I'll do the same, but have to double check my info when I get home)

Yeah, I'm on the PC. My Lvl 35 is on Chapter 18 which I think is the last chapter. I've been playing my mechromancer a lot now though. I'm at 17 now. I've noticed that it's either a lot stronger or I'm a lot better then when I was playing the Siren. My main complaint is that the mechromancer gets hit by any elemental and the shields gone. I can't build the character up too much since I want to play with some other guy's here that are lvl 14. I might have to start up another character... :lol3

    Oh, I'm notthatjeffy on Steam.

the mecha is pretty powerful - even more so at lower level.

a friend of mine and i started clearing the stage 3 of the bar brawl with just the two of us - his 2 turrets and my mecha at 38 or 39 without having to try too very hard.

Yeah, it's pretty strong as long as there are no shock elements used against it. I've been putting all my skill points into Best Friends Forever and Little Big Trouble while leaving Ordered Chaos empty. So the mech is strong but I'm kinda weak.

The only other problem I see with that is if I attack from afar the mech won't attack unless I engage first and it won't always go after the one I want it to. So I usually end up having to thin out the group so it will go after the what I need it to. Hopefully not before I get killed. :lol3

I'm not getting a lot of good shield or class drops so far.

For my Siren, I'm probably not using it's powers to the fullest. I rarely use it's phase lock. I've got to really change my strategy to include it more but I can usually hold out with just the guns.

    HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Anyone who games on PC needs to go get the newest humble bundle! It has Battlefield 3 if you beat the average (right now 4.63, usually they go up a bit but I can't remember paying over 8 bucks).

    https://www.humblebundle.com/

It also comes with the Sims 3 Dead Space, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge!

All the games I put in italics you can also get for just paying 1 dollar.

    OH. MY!

I bought last week's humblebundle thinking it was a good deal, this is insane! I already have Battlefield 3, but who cares, I'll give the code to a friend I know who doesn't have the game but would like to play.

    Edit: Just purchased :deal

Just give it some time, Origin is overloaded, I couldn't even change my settings :eek1 shocker I know, EA doesn't have enough server capacity for a big sale :lol3

But all the games except Battlefield/Sims have Steam codes so I just installed them on there and it's running fine.

Good deal! Though I can't be spending any more. :lol3 Mirror's Edge is really good. I don't care for Battlefield though. Too much running and gunning. With friends it's tolerable though.

Played Battlefield 3 for a few min last night....does anyone know how to change the on screen "press ****") commands to show up as XBox buttons instead of the keyboard, it has me going through all of them right now, and I might need a cheat sheet in the future.

I tell ya', if it wasn't for the Steam Codes I would have ignored this whole thing. :deal

Origin/EA couldn't entice me with a red-headed porn starlet lapdance.
