I bought Skyrim Legendary and The Stanley Parable...
We over here have to pay the same amount in euros, meaning it's about 25% more expensive at the other side of the pond...
Anyway 5 euros is still pretty cheap even for Greece, and I would like a GTA type game to fool around. Do give some impressions on sleeping dogs, I read some reviews but these can be heavily biased...
It's still at 4,99 for another 6 hours...
Hey Jeff, I missed the sale on Stanley parable but looking at the review it looks promising, and still 25% off... Give a quick review on that as well if you can...
You play an undercover cop infiltrating the triads. You got your own little vendetta with the triads but are perfectly cut out for the job. Combat is mostly martial arts, some guns.
There is a lot of driving involved and shooting while driving, ramming and escaping cops. The usual collecting things and some races.
Hongkong is a big sandbox for you to play in. The main mission is linear and you get undercover cop missions besides it.
Nothing you can do wrong for 5.
Graphics is good I think and the city feels vibrant with many people and cars.
Danke man, I agree you can't go wrong on a fiver...
Went ahead and got it... Now we'll see when I get to play it...
Believe it or not, it was my very first steam purchase... I only had team fortress 2 in my library...
Sony UK's marketing ability: guru level.
I do not see the point... scheduled delivery for newly ordered units is february as far as I know. It just promotes disappointment.
How many Page 3 girls are you going to date?
Also if you order you might not get it till feb but at least in the US they usually will release a number first come first serve. I got a Wii when it still had huge waiting lists because Toys R Us had some come in.
Hopefully the sales pick up for Cyber Monday.....NHL hasn't even been on a flash sale this year :huh it was up like 2-3 last year and Newegg had crazy deals on games too.
Yeah I'm kvetching a lot about this but last year I got 6+ months of games out of Black Friday so this is a big let down.
None so far... if Page 3 guys get fashionable, we can talk again.
PS4 EU launch: Zombie Apocalypse level.
Srsly. The video clips are crazy.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
GOTY edition has been on sale for $40. Went on daily deal today for $30. Boy has $60 in his steam account.
PSA: Gamersgate has a 75% off sale on Illwinter Design's older game series (Dominions 3, Conquest of Elysium 3). If you want some extremely solid turn-based strategy roguelikes, go for them. The keys are Steam redeemable (and Gamersgate's offer is better than Steam's, for European users, at least).
I just picked up Game of the Year Edition Dead Island for for Xbox360 for $15. Looks like a fun game for so little cash.
It's a fun multiplayer game.
I don't recall any discussion on the civilization series. Civ. 5, gold edition is only $12 right now. I remember playing the original way back when and enjoying it. Will this kill a months boredom over the winter?
And boy broke down and bought GOTY borderlands 2 today for both of us. I'll be on playing later tonight I bet.
Holy crap. This is quite possibly the best viral campaign ever conducted for a video game. Or the most elaborate hoax ever. :eek1 A recap of everything so far. Allegedly actual radio broadcasts were heard on a frequency in the vicinity of Boston.

Well, their review is pretty accurate. You'r Stanley and you're not Stanley. There's a Narrator who's with you and he also against you. You basically wander around a building trying to figure out what's going on. The Narrator narrates as you walk around, and make decisions. There are several endings depending on what you do. The game isn't that long but it doesn't really end. Playing it multiple times changes the outcome as well. I think I got all of the endings except one.
