No cheating on consoles. That's what ruined CS for me. Got sick of buying $500 video cards every year too.

None of that bothers me so much. If someone is griefing, I just go elsewhere. The video card thing...well having a family cured me of that. I get to upgrade every 2-3 years now :lol3

For all those that haven't done it yet, I have 3 words for you.

    Arm. The. Bomb.

Hot damn that was a helluva boom. Kinda freaked me out after watching that fucker going off and thinking about em raining from the sky whenever "IT" happened.

*Edit, Oh and the MIRV. I got that thing, promptly saved the game and proceeded to radiate the shit out of myself. I played through twice. Once in goody goody mode. Then I went all ted bundy. People freak the fuck out when you start eating the people you just killed.

Has anyone traveled over to Vault 87 yet? Holy crap. I get nervous everytime the Geiger counter starts clicking. The entrance to that Vault peaks at over 3000 rads/sec! Enough to drop you quick.

There are tunnels that connect the Lamplight Caverns to Vault 87 where there is no radiation to worry about.

If you do the missions for Moira in Megaton you can get a perk that makes it so you don't feel the effects of the radiation sickness.

Gaming pretty much keeps me sane during the winter - one hidden gem that was obscenely costly new you *may* be able to pick up cheap these days is Steel Battalion.

Xbox only, sadly no 360 back compatibility for this one, but piloting a giant stompy robot is worth keeping the old hardware going.

*Especially* when this is the controller you get :[IMG]

Note - the sequel (sort of), 'Line of Contact' does *not* come with the controller, but the setup can sometimes be grabbed off ebay cheapish, and used original Xbox's can be picked up fairly easily.

    Whelp.

Plopped down, popped in FO3 and started, go to the point where I was designing my character and the image started getting weird (bright green in the shadows) so I went ahead and turned it off and checked my connections, they were fine. Turned it back on, still doing it, so I decided to try a different TV since this one has had weird color problems in the recent past. Got to our nice new Samsung in the den, got her all hooked up, hit the power button....

Had that last month on the boys xbox 360.... of course it only happens when you're one month out of warranty... Beotch at Microsoft is on the phone with me and asks "how was your Christmas"... My reply, "well it would be a fucking lot better if this fucking xbox did not break, rendering all my kids xmas present games useless...." Her reply, "well at least you had your family for xmas..." To that I nearly went off, but $100 and 4 weeks later they had fixed the problem, just like everyone I know who has had their xbox die... Fuck You Microsoft.

If they told me they were going to charge $100 to fix it I would tell them "Fuck off, I'm going to buy a PS3."

Seriously. If the problem is that common they should fix it. How many Xbox owners don't know about the dreaded red ring of death?
