Probably one of the best perks in the game. First time I saw my buddy playing, he blew a raiders head off. Wow! I had no idea at the time it could get better. :eek1 :lol3

I didn't play it that much but Ben liked it. The combat sequences are more difficult than Fallout and it takes a while to get the hang of using the powers of your teammates. There's no blood or guts though. :cry

    :lol3

I obliterated a Super Mutant last night with a missile shot to the head. If was freakin awesome! :clap

Like charla said, it's not very graphic.

I think the combat mechanics are fine though. If your looking for an RPG that doesn't involve going into and out of battle sequences and/or HP based attacks I'd rank it pretty high. You do have to play it tactically though. If you try to just run and gun like crazy you'll get knocked on your ass pretty quick.

I wasn't that into OBlivion- so imagine my surprise that I'm digging Fallout!

Go online, open a Sony credit card, buy a PS3 and they'll kick you back $100. :wings

I did once for me and once for the spouse (2 cards) to get back (2) $150 credits for Sony cameras that we were going to buy anyway.:lol3

I haven't gotten that rifle yet- after a bit of ant killin', I figured I had some leveling up to do.

It's aazing how much time you can spend in that place. I've spent a bunch just going back to the school to get every 50-cent burned book I can find. LOL

I'm playing this first time through as a good guy.

So far, so good. I'm glad I got this. Did I mention how?

I bought DDR Universe 3. First off, the dance pad sucks. We used to have a hard dance pad, which worked great until the dog gnawed the cord (PS2). So I figured I'd try the basic mat and game for the 360.

The mat sucks, and the songs aren't what they promise on the box- even after unlocks!

So it went back, and Falllout 3 and a used copy of Viva Pinata came home.
:lol3 I guess I'll find my exercise elsewhere.

Its been too cold in the damn garage. So I have been playing GTA, Phantasy Star and Crisis Core on my PSP. And counting down the days to the next round for the DS - GTA (6 days) and Pokemon (11 days)

It appears that the Cannibal Perk is nothing to write home about. :cry

    Buuuuuuut.........

Sidekicks totally rule. If you're in Underworld go to The 9th Circle and get the contract for Charon. He will kill everything in your path. :clap

Does anyone know where to find the Alien Gun? I've heard good things about it.

I don't know about where the alien gun is off the top of my head, the gatling laser is nice though. It's floating in a pool in the deathclaw sanctuary.

Getting That particular one out was entertaining. And no, it doesn't really help much unless you're just going for the evilest evilness you can possibly get.

The explorer perk is a good one. Or whatever it's called. Shows all the locations on the map.

It's a a tough call between the Explorer Perk and the Grim Reaper Perk since both are level 20 and your last pick.

We went with The Grim Reaper Perk last go 'round and it restores all your Hit Points when you kill an enemy in VATS. It's very nice. :thumb

If you rescue Fawkes from one of the Vaults and keep him as your sidekick he also has a Gatling Laser and kicks some major butt with it. :nod

We are going for evilest evil this time around. :evil I got Charon's contract by blowing up a defenceless ghoul by stuffing a frag grenade in her pocket while she was sleeping. :lol3

Ahhhh but the one in the sanctuary isn't just ANY gatling laser. It's a special one.

And it's nasty. I think it's called vengance.

You did know that the created weapons get better if you find All the copies of the blueprints for them didn't you? At least I think thats the way that goes... I like the railroad spike one.
