I don't think I could leave this thread for too long...
Will try my best to do as your advice, Woody.

Since you are in SoCal, if you like Vietnamese foods, go to Little Saigon in Orange county. They have much better Vietnamese foods there than in Vietnam. Why? Beside that they cook genuine Vietnamese foods, abundance of meats and ingredients here in US made them so much better.

I so long for a good Vietnamese sandwich. One of the best sandwiches in the world.

I have a Banh Mi with grilled pork every Sunday at my local Pho place.

If you're in Seattle you have lots of options for Vietnamese food. :freaky

I am in the Philippines and am still looking to fine. I did have many places in Seattle, and I miss that.

Little Saigon in Westminster, CA is our home away from home for Vietnamese food.

Some of the staples we seek out on a regular basis:

Banh Beo and Bun Bo Hue

Banh Cuon ( I eat this 3 or 4 days a week when I'm in Vietnam)

Com Tam (again something I eat regularly)

And wash it all down with some Nuoc Mia

The little girl's expression seems to ask "when do we eat?".
