I want to see your old street legal enduro, dual sport and scrambler bikes, and if you have them, pics out exploring on them. Have a hankering for exploring the dirt roads, trails and little mountain towns on a classic/vintage bike again. Had a yamaha DT 125 growing up and a Suzuki TS 185 a few years ago. Getting that bug again. Need some inspiration on a cold, windy lazy day!

Good pics Ctune80. Especially like that orange DT. Looks exactly like the one I had in my teens. Here is the Suzuki TS I sold a few years ago:

This one followed me home in the fall- it should be ready to be my pit bike by next summer.

It had not been registered since 1982 and had been siting under a porch for at least the last 15 years.... I've got it running, changed all the rotten rubber, leaking fork seals, frozen petcock, and such. I just have to figure out what's up with the charging system and finish finding the last of the missing bits. So far Ebay has been very helpful.

I see you are from Gurnee, didn't happen to buy that at Suzuki of Waukegan did you?
I worked there in the 80's.

My '77 XT500. Bought it 2 years ago for $400, spent another $250 to make it roadworthy. Only had 660 miles on it when I bought it, now has just over 7500.

We've discovered that vintage BMW's work pretty well offroad with the right tires on them. (google Danny Liska)
Just before this picture was taken, we did two fairly gnarly water crossings. (this scene is "on the other side" of the offroad section)

'81 IT250J. It has a compliance plate, so I guess it could be street-legal if I could be arsed chasing down all the ADR bits for it.
Cost me $700AUD 14 months ago, I've spent maybe that much again getting it to where it is. Needs the suspension done and I'd like to stick a new VM36 and a Geoff Morris pipe on it, but even as it is it's a good bike, especially considering how much these things go for over here.
Renthal bars, aftermarket handguards (came off an XR600), 71mm Wossner piston, YZ125K forks/upper triple, YZ465 rear wheel/brake setup, there's a smattering of DT175G bits on there as well replacing broken or missing parts.
She's a bitsa, and pretty rough cosmetically, but runs like a clock and goes like it should, so I'm happy. It's a budget vinduro basher, not a shed queen.

Thanks TJ! In the process of new tires, new shocks and tidying things up- as it's winter in the tundra.

Got it for a trade. cleaned and rebuilt carbs and it runs great. just raised the front fender, longer rear shocks, added gaiters, mini speedometer, and knobbies. Just put on a new tank this week, rotten original. 2500 original k. 1979 xs4002f. great for exploring.
