I did the seat concepts seat. Looks cooler and felt a little better, but the best farkle I've put on the bike so far has been the airhawk pad. I ordered that and a sheepskin from Barb at Alaskan Leather and I'm good for 500 mile days now with no pain. I'm really happy with it!!

Corbin on my Vee. I would not hesitate to purchase again.... In fact, if my wife ever gets a wee it will likely get one.

Not as much grunt as my old 1000 (or that 450 Beta for that matter) but I like the package, and the 1000 was too much fun to wheelie (got the 690 for that now)

Just bought my "new" Wee Strom over the weekend. 2005 DL650 with 17,000 miles. Is in great shape. Had a great ride down from Flagstaff to Chandler AZ on it. Came with heated grips, hand guards, crash bars, skid plate and a performance exhaust. Here is a crappy cell phone picture with bad washed out color, it is a nice metallic red in person.

    American Suzuki Files Bankruptcy
    by staff
    Monday, November 05, 2012

In a long predicted move, American Suzuki filed chapter 11 bankruptcy today in California. Suzuki announced via press release that they intend to stop selling automobiles in the the US.

Suzuki will continue to sell motorcycles and ATVs in the US.

Remember American Suzuki is just the importer of Suzuki's in the USA; so this just means they'll stop importing Suzuki cars, not that they will stop being made.

It also means, that they will continue to import some motorcycles and ATV's (they have never brought all their models here anyway).

American Suzuki has nothing to do either way with the design/construction of their cars or motorcycles.

    Howdy,
I used the search function and am in the middle of google hunting, but has anyone found a way to mount the SW Motec center stand past the Leo header? Scratching my head over here.....

Love my 09 Wee, still adding goodies and looking for the most economical luggage setup. I have a 110 wire feed, so a little fab adj is no trouble. Your thoughts?????

I'm still kickin' a 2002 DL1000.. Good bike though I must admit. One downfall of the 1000 I see is you have to tinker w/ them a LOT to get em' running right. On the flip side from what I hear the 650 comes running good right outta the box. I can say though, that once you put the effort into getting the Vee tweaked out it runs like a spider monkey jacked up on Mt. Dew.
Honestly speaking, I would be more than happy to add a 650 to the arsenal but cannot see it happening in the near future. I'm still having to much fun toying w/ what I have.
