If I ever biff and mess up the plastic I'll probably go with some matte finish color...maybe even more than one color. :D

GS's have been around a heck of a lot longer, plus they have more "charater" you know...I'm sure they out number Stromers by a long shot. Counting bikes from 2002 to today, the numbers are most likely a lot closer. Would love to see the actual ones. Especially if you combine the count of the "perfect" little strom along with the mighty original 1000.

Just put my vote in representing my 6-fiddy! I like her. 2005, Blue. Got about 5,700 miles on her. Just took off 020's (great tires) and put D607's. No real report yet on them (see below). She's my fourth bike in the 12 years I've been riding since 94.

While we're at it. I am new to the Charlotte, NC area (transplant from New York). I would love to hook up for rides with locals on ADV or sport/touring type of bikes. I'm looking to do primarily pavement rides and hopefuly you know the area because I really don't yet (which is wierd after feeling like I had been on every road in a 200 mile radius from where I lived previously). Let's ride!

I think we're ahead if you count the folks that have both. You know they ride the 650 most.

Yesterday, I ordered a 2006 Red DL650. It should be here in the next week or so. I had several bikes on my mind to buy since I sold my Gl1800 last fall, but I kept coming back to the Wee-strom for it's versatility and fun factor.

I will probably order some lowering links, but we will wait until I get a few miles on the bike to see if I need another seat or not.

Look out all you Vee Owners, Wee are going to passing you in numbers real soon!

I took my KLR to the closest triumph dealership to see the tiger up close and to buy a new helmet. I left in 60 minutes having purchased an 05 Strom1000. Hard to rationalize, but i'm certain all of you understand. I take delivery 3/14 :clap

Does Steverino's count since it's already been counted by someone else?
