I thought that I was a skimmer. But after reading the news briefs on the Waldo fire I didn't come away with Terrorist attack at all.

I could see where it is convent to suggest that every arson fire is a terrorist attack. But past investigations suggest that there is a clear line when it comes to intent for an arson fire.
In the past people have started fires for all sorts of reasons. Ranging from stress, to needing work as a fire fighter.

On the other hand if the investigators who are working this fire want a quick cop out. Then the community needs to hold them accountable for their actions. One can't just claim terrorist act without any proof.

Well, we do know for a fact that terrorist organizations have been planning starting large forest fires. Hell that goes back to acts of war as far as fire was a controllable discovery. The Japanese were 'attacking' American soil floating gas filled balloons over the pacific northwest during WWII.

I find it odd that "officials" haven't made causes of the fire public yet. But I have to agree, if they manage to pin this to someone with a middle eastern name or Muslim convert there is a good chance they'll try to call it terrorism.

    Excerpt:

e El Paso County Sheriff said his department mishandled the call four hours before firefighters discovered the front line of what would become Colorado’s most destructive wildfire. Noel Boyce called 911 and told dispatchers where the fire was smoldering in June 2012.

    Excerpt:

A man called on June 23 and said he saw a fire smoldering while he was hiking, the sheriff's office said. The dispatcher said the Pueblo Forest Service was already aware of it and would be there shortly.
However, fire crews already out searching for the fire were never told.

Black Forest Fire report w/ cause finally issued - but not made public.

Must be a politician, public employee, a relative or a terrorist (not much difference) was involved in the arson. I could not find the Black Forest fire thread, so I posted this here.

It amazes me that this is not public information.

    Modified Excerpt:
The sheriff's office announced Wednesday (7.30.2014) that it had received the missing information it needed before being able to give its report to the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office for review. Sheriff Terry Maketa and his staff were waiting for a cause and origin report from the U.S. Forest Service.

    Now:

Where's Waldo (fire cause report) - politicians were informed long ago - see posts above.
