There is some interest in another big bike Autotrain ride..CesarD, and I looked at dates last Wednesday, as well as I ran it by ScottJ Saturday...October 9th through the 13th. Train drops us in Lorton, Virginia. We meander back, with no particular destination or route, hitting the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline drive, the dragon, etc....we eat when we are hungry, sleep when we are tired. Then dead head back when required. Last one was a hoot as long as JA doesn't get us thrown off the train and nobody projectile vomits broadside in the club car....two up friendly. Who's in ?

Just disconnect that wire on the Jap petcock that signals the bike to fall over over when you move it reserve and you are GTG. :lol3

You Wankers gotta plan this shit earlier in the year............vacation all spoken for!!!! Would love to make the run, did similar in 2010, did south on Skyline Drive and the BRP then back up the north foothills and down the south foothills.........good ride for sure!! Don't forgot to go over to Cades Cove and ride Parsons Branch Road back to the Dragon.......

We are doing the round trip on the autotrain in August.....but with a little side run up to Saint Anthonys New Foundland and back before the return trip!!!!!

Fall seafood Wanker run? or maybe a winery run? pretty boring riding down this way but the winery is fun and 3 miles from The A2 Resort (aka...Andy and Angies house)

Yes, I want to do this ride for sure. Count me in ridin solo. Would like to ride some of the roads in Northern GA also. Now there better not be somebody @ work that already has these days off! I'll get on it.:beer

The DL's gotta be some kind of record, like longest ownership by an experienced rider and barely in triple digits on the odometer. Now if I could Borry it, i'd be IN. I still might be in but I can't plan this far ahead. :cry

Hey it's pushing 500 miles, and I've only had it six months

I'm trying to talk the wife into it. If I can I'll be on it. If not and I go I may have some 17's for the 690 because I hear them are some curvy roads :ricky
