We both ride and so do most of my friends. I like twisties and I'm liking riding my ktm dirt bike too.

Sold the sail boat in the spring so it's time for something new.And the something new would be a weekend place/future permenant home.

My wife is a wife and likes a nice nest and I like a nice view near dirt & twisties. A few acreas might be nice.

Anybody know of something or some area that works, please let me know. Wouldn't wanna drive more than 3 hours from greensboro.

    Thanks for any ideas.

    I'm biased . . . .

But the area north of Asheville is perfect . . . especially Madison County. :evil

Father has a place one exit north of Mars Hill. I tested the twisties on Paint Fork...great riding, but your CEO might find it a bit rustic. Barnardsville or Weaverville might have some nice options...I had an epic ride up Hwy 197 from Barnardsville...twisty, twisty, twisty. And then gravel over the pass to Burnsville. Lots of "for sale" signs.

Well . I have a place that I would be thrilled of someone bought .

Sapphire,NC 28774 . 19 miles east of Highlands , 9 miles east of Cahiers . About 40 minutes from Asheville airport on Highway 64 .
Just under 4 acres with winter views . Sorry man , if you want views of the mountains and or twisties year round here , you need to be prepared to fork out 1/4 million bux starting , for just a lot .
Anyway , If wifey is high maintanence , this place may not be for you . Very rustic small cabin built in early 50's by a sweedish man . 2 bdr 1 bath huge kitchen done in wooly cypress .

This truly is a unique spot that is extremely close to ALL of the good riding in NC/TN/GA , off/on road .

If you are potentially Swiss , and or your family name is Robinson , this might be for you . It has BIG potential for building . There are 14 golf courses and 11 lakes in the area . This area is also reffered to as " land of the waterfalls " .

This property sits directly in front of Burlingame Country Club looking onto Highway 64 and Toxaway Mountain . The last LOT that sold that is connected to my property sold for $87,000 for 1.1 acre . The house they built on that lot is on the market for $995,000 .
I assure you , this place is a deal @ $245,000 firm . Now , if you had rather be my neighbor , and your wifey , wife needs comfort , let me know and I can hook you up the the Real Esate Agent that has the wifey wife house behind me for a meager $995,000 . LOL/LOL . She would love you for it LOL .
For real though . This is a uniqe location for a reasonable price and I have ' NO METH-HEADS , CRACK HEADS or dungeonous druggies for neighbors .
    Only a few rich drunks . LOL . And I ain't a drunk nor am I rich . LOL

If you want to get a better bead on where I am located . Get your map and look for Sapphire,NC in Transylvanis County . Look for Hwy 64 and hwy 281 South headed towards South Carolina . OK , I approx 1 mi. west of hwy's 64/ 281south intersecton . On the south side of 64 on top of the hill . PM , if interested . Personally , I would love to do a property trade for somewhere just east of Boise Idaho . But cash will do fine , LOL

By no means SPAM and or TREAT . I can't stand that greasy pig farm floor sweepings . LOL .
But you CANNOT beat the access to riding anywhere better than here .

And Greensboro is hardly the mountains . :pot
