...and I rode from Austin to Lubbock in it. It was pretty brutal. Hopefully it'll be a little cooler once I make it to the nm/Colorado border tonight.

TWT Pie Run in Hutto today. I'm riding, but am glad I'm only 30 minutes away. Less if I take the toll road.

Hey all, been looking for a group to ride with in Central TX. Specifically I am located in Farmers Branch, TX, just slightly north of Dallas. I would like to attend a meetup or go for a longer planned trip with some camping mixed in. I don't own a 4 wheeled vehicle, have ridden a bike practically everyday for the past three years.

The only "big trip" I have completed was with my wife, we did a long weekend to Fredericksburg, TX. Rode south and hit plenty of stops along the way and found some great twisties. Rode up one day from the place in town we were staying to hike Enchanted Rock. One of the best rides I have even been on! The light fog falling from the hills as we tore through the valleys leading to the massive batholith, just a great time. All these street miles over the years and I am ready to drop this bike in the dirt. Let me know when and where!

I'm not dead, just starting to walk again, after pinching a nerve in my hip. It turned sciatic and is still kicking while I'm walking. I will not be kept down and hang on my crazy life with 2 and 3 wheels will go on.

Sooooo, thought I'd wander on up to Nebraska to check on the nation's pending coast-to-coast traffic jam and maybe catch a glimpse of the Total Eclipse while I'm at it. In Harrah, OK, tonight at an AirBnB. "Biker Friendly". How do I explain.....

Anyway, nice couple just back from Sturgis. Both ride their own bikes. Cool. Beautiful bikes. We're clutching out at 8am but heading different directions. This AirBnB thing is really working for me.

Oh, yeh. Someone managed to drown their truck in the river. DOH!!

I wish I could have taken a couple of day to ride up to Clarksville Georgia to see the eclipse. Then I would have ridden over to Mount Pleasant, SC. to visit family.

Good pics, thanks for the old Goose.

Dody, I'm at least out of the wheelchair and walking without too many knife pains in my ankle.
